All About Candida/Yeast/Fungi, Bacteria, Viruses, Parasites, etc.
Before reading this you will need to clear your mind of everything
you have learned about candida/yeast, bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc.
so far. In fact you will learn why The Germ Theory of Disease is false.
That is because
all of the information about candida/yeast,
bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc. was fabricated (made up) by the
medical and drug industries in order to purposely mislead people into
believing that drugs like antibiotics, antifungals, vaccines, etc. would
help them. However all of their information is totally false! Read
How the Medical & Drug Industries Create their Sickness Business
After the discovery of the first antibiotic, penicillin, the medical and
drug industries had to create many words, terms, definitions, and
explanations in order to justify using drugs to treat bugs that occur in
the body, including:
- antibiotic, which means “against life.” The fact “is”
antibiotic drugs are toxins (poisons) that force the body to react like
it normally does to any other kinds of poison — see How Our Bodies React to Poisons (Toxins).
- antibacterial, which means “against bacteria,” which are actually drugs that are toxic and poisonous.
- antifungal, which means “against fungus,” which are actually drugs that are toxic and poisonous ‐ see Why Antifungals Are Not Needed.
- antiviral, which means “against viruses,” which are actually drugs that are toxic and poisonous.
- probiotic, which means “for life” ‐ see Why Probiotics Are Not Needed.
- die–off symptoms and Herxheimer reactions,
“which are supposed to mean” what happens to the body when bacteria and
fungi are killed off by antibiotics and antifungals — see False Information about Die–Off Symptoms & Herxheimer Reactions.
This meant they also had to create false information about the
purpose and function of candida/fungi, bacteria, viruses, parasites,
etc. by “claiming” they cause many diseases by producing toxins
(poisons), and that you can “catch them” and they are contagious.
However, all of that information is false! The fact is that
candida/fungi, and bacteria produce enzymes in order to digest, change
or neutralize poisons (toxins) in the body just like they do in all of
Nature.
Nature’s typical example is a compost heap of rotting vegetable
material. Bacteria, parasites, and fungus are automatically created in
it in order to break it down, changing it into nutrient–rich dark soil.
In other words, bacteria, fungus and bugs are Nature’s housekeepers. If
Nature didn’t have such housekeepers this Planet would have been piled
high with over 10 miles of garbage, dead bodies, leaves, trees,
vegetable matter, etc. many years ago!
What is Candida and What Causes It?
Candida is a short name used to describe Candida Albicans, which is
yeast or fungus that is created by the body. It can be created in any
area of the body that needs it, which is also true for bacteria, and any
other kinds of bugs.
The medical term for candida/yeast overgrowth is “candidiasis,” which
means “an overgrowth of candida albicans in the body.” Candida albicans
is a single–celled fungus that belongs to the vegetable kingdom,
similar to their “cousins” the molds that occur in foods and in all of
Nature such as the soil or a compost heap of garbage.
NOTE: Candida/fungi, bacteria, and all other kinds of bugs do not
“cause” diseases as claimed, since they are created within the body and
in all of Nature for very good purposes.
There are Five Primary Causes of ALL Failing Health, including the creation of bugs:
- Lack of the correct combination of nutrients that all humans need in order to be healthy — see Food Selection for Humans and Nutrients Required for Human Health and Healing.
- Lack of oxygen at a cellular level and/or the inability to utilize it.
- Accumulation of toxins, poisons, and natural waste products of the
cells because of an inability of the body to detoxify like it should.
- Lowered vitality (energy) due to stress, shock, injury, emotional
upsets, losses, relationship or financial worries, and being physically
unhealthy.
- Poor “Nutritional Status” acquired from parents upon conception,
i.e. nutritional deficiencies and/or imbalances that damage the sperm
and/or egg (ovum).
Mother Nature provides many ways of dealing with poor health, as it
does in the environment, soil, plants, and all animals, which is called
“homeostasis” which means:
- The ability of an organism or a cell to regulate it’s internal
conditions, usually by a system of feedback and controls, in order to
stabilize health and functioning.
- The ability of the body or a cell to seek and maintain a condition
of stability and health within its internal environment when dealing
with internal or external changes or influences.
In humans, homeostasis regulates body temperature in an effort to
maintain a normal body temperature around 98.6°. For example, we sweat
to cool off in hot weather, and we shiver to produce heat in cold
weather.
Homeostasis also ensures we have the energy necessary to act quickly
and effectively to threats or danger by automatically switching over to
our “fight/flight” nervous system.
Homeostasis is also involved when we do not consume nutrients needed
for health, which means that the body must get the nutrients it needs to
maintain it life from itself, called borrowing or robbing, i.e. protein
from muscles, minerals from bones, etc. to ensure that vital organs
like the heart can function properly.
Mother Nature was wise enough to provide our bodies with all of the
resources, mechanisms, tools, feedback, etc. that are necessary in order
to maintain our bodies’ homeostasis. This means that all diseases,
symptoms, illnesses, malfunctioning organs, etc. that occur are evidence
the body is utilizing it’s resources in order to maintain homeostasis.
In other words, any changes the body makes are for its optimal survival,
including the creation of bugs of any kind, such as bacteria,
parasites, fungus (candida/yeast).
Many researchers and scientist throughout history have proved that
germs, bacteria, fungus (including candida), cancer, etc. are the result
of the poor condition of the body, and that the body itself creates
them as needed. They proved the existence of a single micro–organism, or
microbe, that is found everywhere in Nature, i.e. on rocks, plants, in
soil, and in all animals and humans on Earth. Modern microscopes
commonly used in the medical field today are not able to detect these
microbes because they are too small. In order to see these microbes
researchers who discovered them use special microscopes. For example,
one researcher, Gaston Naessens, designed and built a microscope he
called the “Somatoscope.”
Since these researchers existed at different times, they made their
discoveries independent of each other, and this resulted in calling
these tiny microbes by different names, including microzymas, protits,
somatids, etc., but it is obvious they were all seeing the same “tiny
dots” or “microbes”.
These microbes can be seen in human blood, emerging from red blood
cells, and they can be seen changing into many different kinds of
organisms. The ability to change into different forms is called
“pleomorphism.” Pleomorphism means many forms; many or more (pleo–),
forms or bodies (morph–), capable of changing from one type of organism
into another. This is what modern scientists call mutation (changing) of
bugs into antibiotic resistant forms.
Special microscopes showed such changes happening right before their
eyes. [Note: Today’s live blood analysis can show similar details, but
improperly prepared vein blood is used, and the results are totally
mis–interpreted.] These researchers saw tiny microbes change into
bacteria, and then the bacteria changed into fungus/yeast, and finally
the fungus changed into cancer. Gaston Naessens called this tiny microbe
a somatid (which means “tiny body”), and here is his diagram of the
changes he saw happening in his microscope, called
The Somatid Cycle of Life.
However, these changes not only take place inside our bodies, since they also occur everywhere in Nature, as this article on
Cleaning Up Wastes states:
“Everything under the sun degrades, or breaks down, into different
materials. Fallen leaves become compost, iron rusts, milk turns sour,
and food ‘goes bad.’ Just as light, heat, and moisture can degrade many
materials, biotechnology
relies on naturally occurring, living bacteria to perform similar functions. Some bacteria naturally breakdown chemicals and other wastes, including some hazardous materials
because they produce digestive enzymes.
Many scientists today are discovering the ability of bacteria and
fungus to clean up the environment — here’s a couple of examples of
their research:
- Chicken Manure Biodegrades Crude Oil In Contaminated Soil—Researchers
in China have discovered that chicken manure [guano] can be used to
biodegrade [break down] crude oil in contaminated soil. Writing in the
International Journal of Environment and Pollution the team explains how
bacteria in chicken manure [guano] break down 50% more crude oil than
soil lacking the guano.
- Fungus Fights Air Pollution By Removing Sulfur From Crude Oil
— Researchers in Iran are publishing what they describe as the first
study on a fungus that can remove sulfur — a major source of air
pollution — from crude oil more effectively than conventional refining
methods.
The purpose of bacteria and fungus are to “clean up” garbage, toxins,
waste, etc. found anywhere in Nature. As needed, they change into
bacteria, and then into different kinds of bacteria, and into fungal
forms like candida/yeast and cancer.
To claim they are the “cause” of disease is like saying “flies cause manure piles,” or “firemen cause fires”.
To understand more about pleomorphism, see
The Somatid Cycle of Life by Naessens, and look at live, moving and changing somatids (tiny mibrobes) in this video,
Earth’s Tiniest Living Organisms: Somatids (Identify: Friend or Foe?).
Therefore, these researchers prove that the
The Germ Theory of Disease is Not True. Theory means
“to guess without having proof”.
It is not a law like the Law of Gravity. The Law of Gravity is a law
because it is consistent, repeatable, and observable, but the germ
theory of disease is not consistent, repeatable, or observable.
Louis Pasteur is the author of the Germ Theory of Disease, yet he was
proved to be a fraud and an impostor, who stole other researchers’ ideas
and forced his beliefs on the medical community, as this article
documents —
You Cannot “Catch” Bugs, Germs, Bacteria or Candida/Fungi.
The Germ Theory of Disease claims that we can “catch” all kinds of fungi, bugs and germs. However, “IF that were true”
we would ALL have ALL of the bugs/germs ALL of the time because they are everywhere!
That means life on Earth could not have happened! It also means we
could never get over a cold, flu, or any other illness “supposedly”
caused by bugs/germs, since
we would constantly be re-infecting ourselves.
When we are sick, it is we who suffer, and suffering is a cruel reality.
However, the cause of our diseased condition is always within
ourselves.”, which is according to Nature’s Fundamental Laws on Health
and Living. Please note that the
word disease means “not–at–ease”.
Pleomorphism also explains why germs mutate, changing into stronger
ones that become resistant to antibiotic drugs, that the medical
industry is always talking about. This also contradicts (opposes)
their own belief in monomorphism, which means one (mono–) body or form
for each kind of bug/germ. The truth is, any fungi, germs and bacteria
can, and do, change into other forms, as proved by many reputable
researchers, scientists and doctors since the early 1800s, including
Antoine Béchamp, Gaston Naessens, Raymond Royal Rife, Gunther Enderlein,
and others.
The “True” Causes of Candida/Yeast/Fungi, Bacteria, etc.
Therefore, the “true” cause of candida makes more sense, since the
body itself creates candida/yeast in order to clean itself up, help heal
damaged or injured areas, to digest indigestible food in the colon, and
to eliminate, change, or neutralize toxins and poisons. This happens
within each person’s body independent of anyone else or any outside
influences or sources,
which also disproves the “claim” that candida or other bugs are contagious!
It is like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile
representing the poor condition of the body, and the flies representing
bacteria, candida/fungus or cancer. The only way to get rid of the flies
is to clean up the manure pile, i.e. improve the condition and health
of the body so it is able to detoxify and heal itself like it should.
The manure pile does not go away by killing off the flies, and the we
also cannot kill off bacteria, candida or cancer that are created by our
own bodies for good purposes. Instead we must get healthy so our
bodies do not need to create candida, fungi, bacteria, bugs, etc.
Think about it:
How can a disease, illness, symptom, malfunctioning organ, etc. cause itself? The poor condition of the body is the reason for all failing health, including candida/fungi, bacteria, cancer, etc.
False Information About Die–Off Symptoms & Herxheimer Reactions
Source.
The term “die-off symptoms” is commonly used to describe symptoms and
reactions that occur when large numbers of candida/fungi, bacteria or
other pathogens (disease causing bugs) are killed off in the body that
releases high numbers of toxins into the system at one time because they
are being killed off by antibiotic, antibacterial, antiviral or
antifungal drugs and non-drug natural substances such as garlic, oil of
oregano, coconut oil, grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf extract,
goldenseal herb, Pau d’arco tea, etc.
Such symptoms are described as “flu-like”, however, “flu-like” symptoms
are actually cleansing reactions created “as needed” by the body to
protect itself from the effects of poisons/toxins, i.e. to detoxify
itself – read
How Our Bodies React to Poison (Toxins) for the list of symptoms and reactions.
Also “die-off symptoms” are called “Herxheimer reactions” which are also
called Herx reactions. However, die-off symptoms and “Herxheimer
reactions”
“assume” that the Germ Theory of Disease is true, so the medical field
had
to fabricate (make up) such terms in order to make us believe their
drugs were actually killing off bugs, however, that isn’t at all true!
The term “Herxheimer reaction” was fabricated by Karl Herxheimer
(1861-1942) and Adolf Jarisch (1850-1902), also known as the
“Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction.” The reason the term was created was to
describe what occurs when large quantities of toxins are released into
the body as
viruses, bacteria, candida, etc. die-off when treated by
antibiotics or antifungal drugs, antifungals, etc. that “supposedly”
kills them off.
“They claim” antibiotics cause bugs to die, i.e. killed off,
which causes them to release large numbers of toxins faster than the
body can remove the toxins by natural detoxification processes. They
also claim: “Such reactions includes fever, chills, headache, muscle
pain, cold-like and flu-like symptoms with increased mucus, and an
increase in skin rashes and eruptions.”
But note this! They also say
“The intensity of the reaction reflects the intensity of inflammation present.”
NOTE: That statement is your biggest clue to the truth! Inflammation
and infection are Natural Healing Processes created by the body itself
in order to heal and detoxify itself.
The Truth About Die-Off Symptoms & Herxheimer Reactions
The truth is that die–off symptoms and Herxheimer Reactions are not
caused by bugs being killed off or dying. What is actually happening in
the body is in the statement above, i.e.
“The intensity of the reaction reflects the intensity of inflammation present.” The fact IS that inflammation is a natural process created by the body in order to heal and detoxify itself.
Such symptoms and reactions are “NOT caused” by killing off bugs at all. They are created by the body in response to toxins/poisons like it reacts to any kinds of toxins or poisons, therefore such
reactions are because of being poisoned!
The body creates symptoms and reactions (inflammation) in response to all toxins/poisons,
i.e. drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vaccines, mercury fillings in
teeth, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals in foods,
personal care and cleaning products, etc.
In other words, the body works towards minimizing the damage caused by
toxins/poisons such as antibiotics and other drugs by creating
inflammation in order to get protect itself and get rid of the poison.
All “Good” Bacteria Are Not Friendly!
Bacteria are created everywhere in Nature, just like they are created
in our bodies and all other bodies, plants, soil, etc. on Earth. One of
the purposes of bacteria is to ferment (break down) and change
substances. For example: Bacteria, fungi, bugs, worms, etc. are
automatically created in a compost heap of decayed and rotting vegetable
matter, leaves, and other organic matter, that changes it into black
nutrient–rich soil. Other examples of bacterial fermentation are in the
making of cheese, yogurt, beer, wine, alcoholic beverages, etc.
What about probiotics, that are supposed to be “good” or “friendly”
bacteria? One of the most common probiotics found in yogurt, cheese and
supplements is called Lactobacillus Acidophilus, which is one of the
“supposedly” good bacteria in the body. However, Lactobacillus
Acidophilus is one of the bacteria created in the mouth that causes
Dental Plaque. Dental plaque is what we are trying to brush off of our teeth and it causes
Dental Caries (tooth decay/cavities), and gum disease such as
Gingivitis and
Periodontal Disease.
Acids produced by these bacteria in the mouth break down, or
demineralize, enamel, dentin, and cementum (similar to bone, which
covers the roots).
So the question is, how can Lactobacillus Acidophilus be “good bacteria” when it causes such damage?
The major clue to problems with probiotics is in Dr. Weston A. Price’s book
Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
Dr. Price was a very precise researcher, who did careful testing of
saliva from people’s mouths (before and after providing healthy
nutrition). He also took x–rays, counted cavities, measured the depth of
cavities, etc., and he also did tests on food samples for their
nutrient content. He tested many kinds of foods and diets of isolated
people throughout the World that he researched, as well as counting
cavities, etc.. In fact he tested over 20,000 saliva samples in his
laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Weston A. Price (1870-1948) was a Cleveland dentist, who decided to
embark on a series of unique investigations that would engage his
attention and energies for the next ten years. Price was disturbed by
what he found when he looked into the mouths of his patients. Rarely did
an examination of an adult client reveal anything but rampant tooth
decay, often accompanied by serious problems elsewhere in the body such
as arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, intestinal complaints and chronic
fatigue. (They called it neurasthenia in Price’s day.) Here’s more
information about
Dr. Weston A. Price and his work.
But it was the dentition of younger patients that gave him most cause
for concern. He observed that crowded, crooked teeth were becoming more
and more common, along with what Price called “facial deformities”, i.e.
overbites, narrowed faces, underdevelopment of the nose, lack of
well-defined cheekbones and pinched nostrils. Such children invariably
suffered from one or more complaints that sound all too familiar to
mothers of the 1990s: frequent infections, allergies, anemia, asthma,
poor vision, lack of coordination, fatigue and behavioral problems.
Price did not believe that such “physical degeneration” was God’s plan
for mankind. He was rather inclined to believe that the creator intended
physical perfection for all human beings, and that children should grow
up free of ailments.
Dr. Price’s book documents his 10 year journey to many isolated groups
throughout the World which includes many photographs. Chapters 1-21 of
Dr. Weston A. Price’s book
Nutrition and Physical Degeneration are available online, but you can buy his complete book at
Amazon.com—choose the correct country.
On page 432 of his book Dr. Price writes about a girl who had 42
cavities and was put on a nutritious diet that he prescribed, along with
1/2 teaspoon of a high vitamin A butter oil mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of a
very high–vitamin cod liver oil. Dr. Price writes: “Important light is
thrown on this case by both the chemical analysis of the saliva and the
bacterial count. The inorganic phosphorus (a mineral found in meats and
eggs) of the saliva . . . was changed from +19.1 to -29.5.
The bacterial count change for L. acidophilous was from 680,000 to none.” [Note: In a previous paragraph he explains that
phosphorus needed for teeth and bones “is higher” in the saliva of people with cavities and who have poor health.]
Dr. Price’s prescribed a nutrition plan that included an increase in
activator X (vitamin K2), vitamin A, a reduction in carbohydrates, and
an increase in mineral-providing foods. Before the change in nutrition,
when tooth decay was considered active, L. acidophilous averaged 323,000
colonies per cubic centimeter of saliva, and after treatment, it
averaged 15,000.
On page 436, Figure 139, he illustrates six typical cases under the
influence of his reinforced diet, when the inorganic phosphorus [a
mineral found in meats and eggs] factor changes from an average of +11.5
to -13.9 and L. acidophilous count fell from 323,000 to 15,000.
Dr. Price’s information begs the question:
If “good” bacteria, like
L. acidophilous, are so important for health then why do people who get
proper nutrition as Dr. Price provided, have less L. acidophilous in
their saliva? That means we need to question the role that
“supposedly” friendly, or good, bacteria play in the body, and how and
why the body creates such bacteria.
Many references state that L. acidophilous is a lactic acid producing
bacteria that causes tooth decay, and mouth and gum diseases. Please
note that the acidic form of lactate, lactic acid, cannot be formed
under normal circumstances in human tissues. That makes one wonder
whether “so–called” friendly bacteria, like L. acidophilous, are created
by the body, just like it creates bacteria, candida/fungus, etc.,
in order to handle a non–optimal health condition.
Under conditions of “excess glucose” and “limited oxygen” the body
needs lactic acid in its acidic form, in order to increase the body’s
production of hydrogen peroxide which is an oxgenating substance.
Lactic acid bacteria is usually found in decomposing plants and lactic
products, and it produces lactic acid as the major end–product of
glucose/carb fermentation, which is the acidic form of lactic acid.
Therefore friendly bacteria actually create an acidic environment.
This, in addition to the fact that a healthy small and large intestine
are alkaline. Only the stomach is acid. When stomach acid increases
enough it stops the digestion of carbs which begins in the mouth and
continues carb digestion in the small intestines. Stomach acid mainly
digests protein.
The mouth produces enzymes that start digestion of carbs which can only
work in an alkaline environment, so the mouth needs to be alkaline. When
Dr. Price wrote that L. acidophilus was drastically lower in the mouth
of people who were properly nourished it makes perfect sense. The mouth
creates more mucus in order to minimize the damaging effects of
substances like sugars/carbs and toxins on the teeth (hardened mucus is
called plaque). Mucus contains bacteria, like Lactobacillus Acidophilus
in order to break down such substances and it produces lactic and other
acids that cause cavities, gum disease, etc.
As the food empties out of the stomach into the first part of the small
intestines, called the duodenum, IF the pancreas detects
the mixture contains enough fluids and stomach acid
it is able to do its job. First the pancreas must make the mixture
alkaline, so it pours lots of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) onto the
mixture. Then the pancreas produces digestive enzymes to digest
protein, carbs and fats.
Pancreatic enzymes only work on an alkaline mixture, just like enzymes in the mouth, therefore, doesn’t it stand to reason that
if the small and large intestines are not alkaline they are not able to digest foods like they should?
Some claim friendly bacteria found in the small and large intestines are acid–forming bacteria called
lactobacteria, and include various species belonging to larger groupings named
Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and Streptococcus. The two most important species are considered to be
Lactobacillus acidophilus and
Bifidobacterium bifidus.
If that is true, such bacteria would make the small intestines acidic,
which means all digestive enzymes produced by the pancreas and small
intestines would be inactivated, so digestion would be very poor.
Therefore the presence of such bacteria in the small and large
intestines means poor digestion, similar to those bacteria in the mouth,
which it means the person’s overall health is very poor.
Since probiotics (bugs) in supplements or foods like yogurt or
sauerkraut are mostly protein, and also contain carbs and fats, they
would be digested the same way any other protein, fat and carbs are
digested, such as an insect. That’s why some companies make enteric
coated capsules. An enteric coating is applied to oral medication that
controls where it will be absorbed in the digestive system. Enteric
refers to the small intestine, therefore enteric coatings prevent
release of a supplement or medication before it reaches the small
intestine.
Most enteric coatings do not break down in the highly acidic environment
of the stomach, but they rapidly break down in the alkaline environment
in the small intestine. Materials used for enteric coatings include
fatty acids, waxes, shellac, plastics, and plant fibers. Fatty acids are
digested in the small intestines, while waxes, shellac, plastic, and
plant fibers would arrive at the large intestines as undigestible
materials.
However, the small intestines does not require bacteria in order to
digest protein, fat and carbs, since it produces many powerful digestive
enzymes for that purpose. Very little is left of foods at the end of
the small intestine, which mainly consists of undigestible carb fibers
(cellulose), undigestible sugars, residues of secretions, dead cells
(the intestinal lining regenerates itself every 4–5 days, so there’s a
lot of dead cells), and water.
The human digestive system cannot break down (digest) fibers, which are
the cell walls of all plant foods, like animals who are designed to
consume plant foods, called herbivores. Herbivores like cows and sheep
have teeth for grinding up plant foods, and digestive systems containing
billions of bacteria, fungus and bugs that break down plant cell walls
(cellulose) releasing the nutrients inside. That’s why herbivores
produce a lot of gas, and since they only consume carbs/sugars they are
fat and bloated. For more details see
Comparison Between the Digestive Tracts of a Carnivore, a Herbivore and Man.
If humans consume raw plant foods they arrive at the end of the small
intestines undigested. This forces the large intestines to create
bacteria, candida/ fungi, etc. in order to break them down. Bacteria,
fungi and other bugs produce digestive enzymes capable of breaking down
fibres, undigestible sugars, and other undigestible materials. Fungus
like candida are also capable of changing heavy metals into less toxic
substances so they are less damaging. This means the colon is changed
into a fermentation chamber that creates a lot of gas, bloating, and
many other digestive problems and diseases.
It is well–known that inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel
syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s Disease (inflammation and diarrhea of the large
intestines), etc. are because the intestines has more mucus, called
biofilms, created by micro–organisms, including bacteria and
yeast/fungi, just like bioflims are formed in other areas of the body,
and in Nature. Fermentation also makes the large intestines acidic, when
it is needs to be alkaline so it can perform its many important
functions.
The large intestines is where probiotics are “supposedly” needed.
However, it is highly unlikely probiotics could arrive intact and
unchanged though the stomach and 24 feet of small intestines in order to
populate the large intestines with live active bacteria. If the enteric
coated capsule arrive in the large intestines intact it will be an
undigestible material too, which means bacteria, parasites or
fungus/candida must be created in order to break it down.
The main functions of the large intestines are to absorb water from the
remaining indigestible food matter, to break down undigestible material,
and to pass useless waste material from the body. The intestinal lining
regenerates itself every 4–5 days so stools will contain a lot of dead
cells, including dead cells sent to the large intestines from other
areas of the body.
The literature is loaded with information that the small and large
intestines “supposedly” contain “good bacteria” which are healthy. If
that were true then those good bacteria would make the intestines
acidic, which interferes with digestion instead of aiding it. Like the
mouth, such “good bacteria” in the intestines is a sign of poor health
due to an excess of glucose (sugar), lack of oxygen and mostly because
of indigestible carbs (plant foods) that humans are not able to digest.
Therefore, it is only logical that “good bacteria” (probiotics) are
created by the body when they are necessary, just like it creates
bacteria, parasites, fungus like candida (yeast), etc. in order to clean
itself up of toxins. But that idea is totally foreign to people today
who do not understand that
The Germ Theory of Disease is Not True.
The bottom line is, that our bodies are smart enough to balance out all
nutrients, hormones, water, etc. levels if we treat them according to
Nature’s Laws on Health and Healing by obtaining all of the nutrients
that are necessary for human health, and by eliminating toxins and
damaging foods.
Lack of Good Bacteria Does Not Cause Candida!
Most information on candida states that candida starts overgrowing when
“good bacteria,” called probiotics, in the body are wiped out by
antibiotics, which allows room so candida can take over. However that is
not true! Antibiotics are toxic and poisonous, and just like any other
toxins, including drugs, mercury in dental fillings, chemicals added to
foods, chemical fertilizers, etc. they are damaging to human health.
When toxins are present the body must defend itself by minimizing their
effects and damage, and it does this by creating inflammation and
infection, with and without bugs, in order to eliminate and/or change
them into less toxic substances by detoxifying them.
Bugs do this just like they do everywhere in Nature, i.e. by consuming
toxins, neutralizing them (make them less toxic), and by changing them
into less toxic substances that can be eliminated.
The body’s first response to toxins is to create substances to
neutralize (make toxins less toxic) and to eliminate them. The medical
community calls this response viruses. However viruses are not actually
bugs as the medical field tries to make us believe. Viruses are actually
substances created by the body itself in order to neutralize and
eliminate toxins. However medical treatments (drugs, antibiotics,
surgery, etc.) are all based upon The Germ Theory of Disease, that
germs, viruses, bacteria, fungus and cancer “cause” diseases, which is
not at all true, since toxins and the poor condition of the body cause
diseases.
The Germ Theory of Disease states that we “catch” all bugs. However,
“IF
that were true” we would ALL have ALL of the bugs ALL of the time
because they are everywhere! That means life on Earth could not have
happened! We would also never be able to get over a cold, flu, or any
other disease where bugs are present, since we would constantly be
re–infecting ourselves.
The Body Itself Creates All Bugs as Needed
This is what
Antonie Bechamp (1816-1908) writes in his book on pleomorphism
The Third Element of The Blood:
Page 1: “As a blood smear slide ages over one to two days,
organisms
literally can be seen wiggling out of the red blood cells, organisms
that change into more degenerate and pathological forms as the process
proceeds.
When the rotting or putrefaction process is over, when there is nothing
more for the newly formed viruses, bacteria and fungi to eat, they all
break apart again, disappear, and turn back into the “little dots” they
came from, called microzymas. They eat themselves and are reborn . . .”
Note: Other researchers independently discovered those same organisms in
the cells, and called them different names. Gunther Enderlein called
them protits, and Gaston Naessens called them somatids.
Page 2: “It is only in illness that they [bugs] become agents of
fermentation. The waste or byproducts of these bacteria and other
organisms are alcohol, CO2 lactic acid, vinegar, etc. that are produced
in such processes.”

determines what form the mycrozymas take, i.e. whether they are good
guys or not so good. The ‘good guys’ turn into the cells that regenerate
the body, organ specific mycrozymas. The not so good guys are the
protits that go in the direction of fermentation and putrefaction.”
Page 5: “The essential biological characteristics of the microzymas is
that they are creators of cellules (cells) by synthesis and of
virioniens (viruses, bacteria, fungi) by pleomorphism.”
Synthesis means a combination of two or more things that together form something new.
Pleomorphism means the ability of bacteria to change their shape
dramatically or to exist in a number of forms, i.e. changing from a
virus into bacteria, and changing of bacteria into fungus.”
This and many other similar references are evidence that probiotic
supplements are not healthy, and it is unmistakable, since probiotics
are only formed by the body under certain conditions.
Those
conditions are mainly due to: 1) undigested fibers (intact cell walls of
all plant foods, i.e. carbs) that humans are incapable of digesting, 2)
injury, and 3) toxins.
Animals like cows and sheep, who are herbivores (consume only plant
foods), have digestive systems that contain billions of bacteria and
protozoa (one-celled animals) that break down (digest) the cellulose
cell walls into cellobiose to begin the process of releasing the
nutrients inside. That is why herbivores produce lots of gas, and
because they consume only carbs (plant foods) they are fat and bloated.
For more details see
Comparison Between the Digestive Tracts of a Carnivore, a Herbivore and Man, Introduction.
Candida Is “Not” Contagious
Therefore, germs, viruses, bacteria, candida/fungus, and even cancer
cannot be contagious. That is because they are created in an unhealthy
body in order to clean itself up of toxins and damaging substances.
That’s why it is not possible to “catch” them from any outside source or
from another person, anymore than you can catch someone else’s nutrient
imbalances or their broken finger.
In
The Third Element of The Blood, Antonie Bechamp writes: “It is
the same with animals. It is not the inoculated organisms which
multiply, but their presence and the liquid which saturates them causes a
change in the surrounding medium which enables the normal microzymas of
the organism to evolve in a diseased manner, either reaching or not
reaching the state of a bacterium. The disease is not the consequence of
the new mode of being of the normal microzymas; the fever which ensues
is only the result of this new method of functioning and of the effort
of the organism to rid itself of the products of an abnormal
fermentation and disassimilation, while inducing a return of the
diseased microzymas to the physiological condition.
Also babies do not catch candida from the birth canal, as claimed, since
they acquire their failing health upon conception because of their
parents poor “nutritional status”, as Dr. Price write in
Nutrition and Physical Degeneration,
Chapter 21: “Of the many problems on which the experience of the
primitive races can throw light, probably none is more pressing than
practical procedures for improving child life. Since this has been shown
to be largely dependent upon the architectural design, as determined by
the health of the parental germ cells [DNA/genes upon conception], and
by the prenatal environment of the child, the program that is to be
successful must begin early enough to obviate [to anticipate and prevent
or eliminate] by effective measures these various disturbing forces.
The normal determining factors that are of hereditary origin may be
interrupted in a given generation but need not become fixed [unchanging]
characteristics in the future generations. This question of parental
nutrition, accordingly, constitutes a fundamental determining factor in
the health and physical perfection of the offspring. This means that if
either parent has failing health the baby will also have failing health.
The “Truth” About Health & Longevity
Physical Health is defined as:
- a state of physical well-being that is free of dis-ease, disorders, malfunctions, pain or weakness
- a physical state of being in which all of the parts and organs are sound and functioning normally, and in proper condition
- the condition of the body and its various parts and functions are normal and efficient so as to prolong life
The medical industry claims people are living longer today due to
improved medical science, hygiene (cleanliness), sanitation, pure water,
vaccines, etc. than they were before. However evidence proves that is
not true!
An astute member of the Weston A. Price Foundation discovered some
interesting statistics about U.S. centenarians [people who are 100 years
of age or older] compared to total population —see
Are We Really Living Longer?
From a video segment recently aired on Nova
[2007 population 306 million], we learn that as of 2007 only one in 10,000 Americans will live to age 100 [0.33% of the total population].
US census data indicates that in
1990, there were an estimated
37,306 centenarians out of 248,709,873 . . . [or 1.5% of the total
population]. According to numbers compiled at the University of
Virginia, in
1830 there were 2,600 centenarians out of 12,866,020 people, or . . .[or 2.02% of the total population].
Summary by Year
- 2007: 0.33% of total population were 100 years of age or more
- 1990: 1.50% of total population were 100 years of age or more
- 1830: 2.02% of total population were 100 years of age or more
There is also a wonderful
story of the longevity of Ethiopians, Fifth Century B.C. in the Life Without Bread book by Christian Allan, Ph.D. and Wolfgang Lutz, M.D., page 10:
“Observations recorded throughout modern history reflect the benefits of
low-carbohydrate nutrition. Herodotus [an ancient Greek historian] tells of the
meeting between a Persian delegation and the King of Ethiopia in the fifth
century B.C., and of the curiosity of the Ethiopian king concerning Cambyses,
the Persian king.
Finally [the Ethiopian king] came to the wine and, having learnt the process of
its manufacture, drank some and found it delicious; then, for a last question,
he asked what the Persian king ate and what was the greatest age that Persians
could attain.
Getting in reply an account of the nature and cultivation of wheat, and
hearing
that the Persian king ate bread, and that people in Persia did not commonly live
beyond eighty, he said he was not surprised that anyone who ate dung should die
so soon, adding that the Persians would doubtlessly die younger still, if they
did not keep themselves going with that drink—and here he pointed to the
wine—the one thing in which he admitted the superiority of the Persians.
The Persians, in their turn, asked the Ethiopian king how long the Ethiopians
lived and what they ate, and were told that
most of them lived to be 120, and
some even more, and that they ate boiled meat and drank milk.”
Here’s an excellent article that also refutes claims that people are living longer today—see
The Life Expectancies, by J.I. Rodale.
Disease Processes Versus Healing Processes
Actually every disease is the result of poor health, and it is simply “a sign” that something is not right, that
natural healers called “warnings from nature”.
In fact all disease processes are exactly the same as natural healing
processes that the body itself creates, with only one difference. When
our bodies get the correct combination of nutrients they need, and when
toxins and damaging foods are eliminated, they become able to progress
towards health, reversing the disease processes, by detoxifying,
repairing and rebuilding all cells and tissues.
To this day the medical industry continues labeling each and every “sign
of Nature” that something is wrong with complicated separate disease
names. Their unending lists are becoming more and more complex and
tangled in mystery, which makes people follow them like sheep to the
slaughter. In fact many physicians today deny the body can heal itself
and that only their treatments help, i.e. drugs, surgery and radiation,
so they are simply poisoning, slashing and burning our bodies in the
name of health! In fact the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
regulations state that
only a drug can diagnose, treat or cure any disease! That is insane because a drug is a thing!
The truth is each and every sign, symptom, disease, organ malfunction,
reaction, etc. is evidence the body is working hard at maintaining its
health in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, stress, etc.,
since healing symptoms and reactions are exactly the same as disease symptoms and reactions—see
Nature’s Laws on Health,
Nature Needs No Remedy, and
Inflammation and Infection are Natural Healing Processes.
Lack of “Proper Nutrition” and Oxygen Damages Health
Poor nutrition is one of the major causes of poor health today because
it weakens every cell in the body. Today’s standard diet lacks the
necessary nutrients to maintain health since it contains so many
nutrient-devoid foods. It is loaded with sugars, high carbohydrate
foods, man-made “unnatural” oils and fats (margarine, Crisco, Mazola
oil, Canola oil, etc., which includes all vegetables oils except extra
virgin olive oil), white flour products, improperly prepared grains,
nuts and seeds, processed foods, food additives, preservatives,
pesticides, heavy metals, and many other chemicals. Sugars and
high–carbohydrate foods and drugs are the biggest contributors to poor
health.
The average person living in the Western world consumes about 125 pounds
of refined table sugar every year and a diet that is very high in
carbohydrates, as documented in Gary Taubes book
Good Calories, Bad Calories.
It has been known for centuries that starches and sugars contribute to
poor health which is documented by William Dufty in his book Sugar
Blues.
Our high consumption of sugar, carbs and nutrient-devoid foods has been
greatly influenced by the food industry. Even Government food guides are
developed by vested interests like the food industry, in order to sell
their nutrient-devoid chemically laden foods.
Their main motivation is money!
The food industry would have us convinced that we should restrict our
eating to only dead foods that have no nutritional value whatsoever!
Real foods are foods that can be grown and raised naturally. If a
food item did not exist prior to industrialization it is not real food!
Every year the food industry spends millions of dollars lobbying for
laws so they can save time and money processing and storing foods, by
approving chemical preservatives, additives, coloring agents, foaming
agents, binders, thickeners, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and many other
chemicals in our food supply.
These laws benefit the food industry by preserving foods so they can be
shipped over thousands of miles, and have a long shelf life, so they
will lose less money due to spoilage. But this means foods are stripped
of nutrients, damaged by toxic chemicals, hydrogenation, and
pasteurization that cannot support health.
The fact is: “If insects cannot live off of the food neither can humans.”
Meanwhile most of our food supply is grown on soil that is sadly depleted of life–giving nutrients.
Irradiated & Microwaved Foods Damage Health
Some laws allow the food industry to kill foods by irradiation, a
process where foods are exposed to high levels of radiation in order to
extend shelf life (irradiation is the same as microwaving foods or
drinks). However, in certain cases companies are not required by law to
label such foods, and the current permissible radiation dosage is about
200 million times greater than a chest x-ray.
Radiation breaks up the molecular structure of the food and creates a
whole new set of chemicals known as “unique radiolytic products” (URPs).
These URPs include benzene, formaldehyde and a host of known mutagens
(capable of inducing mutation and damage) and carcinogens (capable of
inducing cancer). Irradiation kills nutrients and effectively renders
the food “dead,” which makes them totally useless to your body.
Hundred’s of tests prove irradiated foods are damaging to humans.
Short–term studies were done on children in India and blood tests showed
chromosomal (genes/DNA) damage to the children after 6 weeks.
Short-term tests were done on dogs using irradiated beef; the dogs ended
up with enlarged spleens and swollen lymph nodes.
Other studies, including those done under contract for the U.S.
Government, indicate the possibility of cell destruction, kidney
disease, cardiac thrombus (a clot that forms in one of the chambers of
the heart), damage to the testicles, and fibroplasias (the formation of
fibrous tissue).
Toxins and Poisons Damage Health
Toxins cause all cell membranes (outer cover of cells, enclosure) in the
body to go rigid/stiff, including white and red blood cells.
Flexibility of the cell membrane is very important for the functioning
of cells, which allows nutrients, hormones, water, etc. to go in, and
the natural waste products of the cells to go out so they can be
eliminated, as well as other important activities that need to take
place. For example: cells intake oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide
that is breathed out through the lungs: in with the bad air and out
with the good air.
Red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body and must be flexible
enough to squeeze down to about one-seventh their normal size in order
to get into the body’s tiny capillaries. When red blood cells are stiff
the transport of life-giving oxygen to all the tissues and organs is
impaired. This causes tissues and organs throughout the body to lose
their ability to function like they should, which is one of the reasons
unhealthy people have cold hands and feet.
There’s more. Defective cell membranes can interfere with the ability of
glucose (blood sugar) to penetrate the cells, a job normally
accomplished with the help of insulin. When cell membranes are damaged
insulin has trouble doing its job. This causes low blood sugar levels
(hypoglycaemia; also called insulin reaction) resulting in low energy,
light headedness, and sometimes even a coma. This also overworks the
pancreas which produces insulin, causing it to dysfunction as well.
A hormone is a chemical released by a cell or a gland in one part of the
body that sends out messages that affect cells in other parts of the
body. In other words, hormones are chemical messengers that transport a
signal from one cell to another. They also perform specific biochemical
functions. For example, if you cut yourself, growth hormone signals are
sent out to repair and replace tissues.
>/p>
There are two types of hormones in the body:
- Anabolic hormones that involve anabolic processes (anabolism), build
molecules, tissues and even organs in the body, which includes sex hormones,
insulin, and growth hormones produced in the pituitary gland in the head which
are responsible for tissues repair, cell regeneration, and building new tissues
as needed.
- Catabolic hormones that involve catabolic processes (canabolism), break down
substances into simpler ones, which include thyroid hormones which function as
general stimulators of many cellular reactions, hormones produced by the adrenal
glands such as cortisol, and others.
The body always strives to balance out its anabolic and catabolic processes,
however when it is unhealthy it is not as able to as it can when it is healthy.
Also toxins, including birth control pills, drugs, antibiotics, etc.
make all of
the body’s cell membranes stiff/rigid, which means any organs or tissues
involved in producing hormones are not as able to do their job (function
normally), and hormones that may be produced are not as able to get into
stiff/rigid cells where they are needed to do their job. Such hormones
include thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and many others,
even those that regulate digestion, release digestive juices, maintain
temperature, etc.
Nutrients such as potassium, calcium, and other minerals also have
trouble getting into rigid cell walls. This can result in fluid
retention, electrolyte (minerals) imbalances, and many other health
problems. In fact every nutrient required by the body will have
difficulty getting into rigid/stiff cells throughout the body, including
protein (amino acids), fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and
even water. Rigid cells are also not as able to get rid of their natural
waste products and regulate water balance.
Drugs are Toxic (Poisonous)
No one ever gets sick from a lack of drugs. Any and all
diseases and illnesses are mainly caused by a lack of “proper nutrition”
and an overload of toxins. One of the major sources of toxins are
drugs, including over–the–counter medicines, birth control pills,
hormone replacement therapy and other hormones, blood pressure lowering
drugs, pain killers, antidepressants, etc. which are all extremely toxic
and poisonous to the body.
Drugs can only be legalized by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration),
however the FDA relies on drug company studies and research, and a
significant portion of their budget is funded by the very companies they
are supposedly regulating. That means we are paying our own government,
that is supposed to protect us, to actually make us sicker or kill us
with drugs.
Senator Grassley stated that “things that go on in the FDA don’t really
protect the consumer.” Moreover, the FDA, in Senator Grassley’s opinion,
doesn’t deserve the automatic “seal of approval” it possesses when it
comes to drugs.
Representative Joe Barton, Texas, stated “prescription drugs approved by
the FDA should keep you out of the hospital, not send you to one.”
Prescription drugs supposedly taken for medical reasons often have no
true medical function, like Ritalin, which is mainly used to keep
children docile, and statin drugs to lower cholesterol, which treat
symptoms but not actual health problems. That in addition to the fact
that many prescription drugs are addictive, and they kill more people
each year than all illegal drugs combined.
The real factor that determines whether a drug is legal or whether it is
banned is not safety, addiction or medical function, but whether they
cut into the medical and drug companies’ or government’s profits.
Sometimes substances are banned in some forms but not others, i.e.
Ephedra was banned when found in the unpatentable Chinese herb ma huang,
but legal when found in profitable Sudafed and cold medicines. It’s all
about the money!
The truth is the current system produces a well–organized system for
manufacturing, promoting, delivering, and selling deadly, addictive
drugs, in order to create corporate profits and tax revenues. “
Follow the money! What a sad state of affairs that is! Read How the Medical & Drug Industries Create their Sickness Business and How Our Bodies React to Poisons (Toxins).
Vaccines Are Toxic (Poisonous)
Vaccines are based upon the “antibody theory” and the “germ theory of
disease.” Both of these theories are totally false. First of all you
cannot and do not “catch” germs, bacteria or viruses, nor can you
“catch” candida overgrowth or cancer. The following text disproves the
“Germ Theory of Disease” as promoted by the medical industry today which
was started by Louis Pasteur in the early 1800s.
Louis Pasteur was a French microbiologist and chemist, born on December
27, 1822 in Dole, in the region of Jura, France. His discovery that most
infectious diseases are caused by germs, known as the “germ theory of
disease,” became the foundation for the science of microbiology, and a
cornerstone of modern medicine.
“Pasteur also developed ‘pasteurization’, which was named after him.
Pasteurization is a process by which harmful microbes in perishable food
products are destroyed using heat, without destroying the food.”
However, this is not true. Pasteurization damages food by destroying
natural enzymes and nutrients in them.
However, Louis Pasteur was not an honest creditable individual. If you
look back into the history of the medical profession and the various
ideas regarding the cause of disease that were held by leading
physicians before Pasteur first declared his notorious “germ theory”,
you will find convincing evidence that Pasteur discovered nothing, and
that he deliberately appropriated, falsified and perverted another man’s
work.
His true character and methods were brought to light by Miss Ethel
Douglas Hume in her book “Pasteur or Bechamp” written in 1923, the title
of which has since been changed to “
Pasteur Exposed“.
It was Antoine Bechamp (1816–1908), a contemporary of Pasteur, who
discovered the true nature of germs, bacteria, fungi, etc. and that they
change form, called pleomorphism. He discovered they all arise from
microbes called microzymas (tiny microbes) which exist everywhere in
nature and are found in all animals, fish, insects, human bodies,
soil/dirt, and on plants, rocks, and surfaces everywhere on Earth.
When it comes to the antibody theory please remember that antibodies are
tested only in a laboratory, and as the article “Jabs and Journeys”
states: “. . . vaccinations [to build up antibodies] are artificial
procedures which can be found to be protective in artificial situations.
What we want to know is how effective are they in the real world? The
laboratory can tell us little about this.”
This, in addition to the fact that the medical community follows these antibody rules:
- High antibodies equals an allergy.
- High antibodies equals immunity.
- However, in the case of HIV high antibodies means you are infectious!
That doesn’t make sense! The rules change when it comes to HIV/AIDS? Yet
the opposite is true for all other diseases? The fact is:
- People who are the most immune have low antibodies levels.
- If HIV tests were not diluted to a ratio of 1:400 everyone would have infectious HIV.
- Antibody allergy tests are based upon the theory that high
circulating levels of IgG antibodies correlate with clinical food
allergy signs and symptoms, however high serum levels of IgG and other
allergy tests has not been studied, nor verified, therefore it is quite a
leap to conclude that IgG to food antigens correlates to signs and
symptoms of food allergy. Also the fact is that laboratories do not use
pure food antigens to test blood samples from patients.
- Also all “so-called” allergic reactions are exactly the same list
of symptoms as the list of healing reactions created by the body – see Healing Reactions Versus Allergic Reactions and Healing Foods, Herbs and Spices Create Healing Reactions.
Vaccines introduce toxins (poisons) into the body and make people sick
since the body reacts to them like it reacts to all poisons—
How Our Bodies React to Poisons (Toxins).
There is proof that vaccines cause autism in children and that vaccines
have never helped eradicate any disease, contrary to reports and
statistics by governments and the drug and medical industries. See
Antibody Theory Defies Logic and
The Vaccine Website.
Foods & Drinks That Damage Health
There are many foods and drinks available today that damage health, but
most people do not realize it or know about them. That is because the
food industry does not prepare foods like our ancestors did before
industrialization, and the food industry’s motive is profits and not
your health!
Summary of Foods That Damage Health:
- Processed foods, fake foods, and food products, particularly white flour and polished rice.
- Irradiated (zapped with radiation) and microwaved foods.
- Pasteurized foods and foods that are processed using high heat.
- Foods and drinks that contain chemicals, i.e. additives, preservatives, emulsifiers, dyes, flavor enhancers, etc.
- Genetically modified foods.
- Sugar and all forms of it, including a high consumption of fruits, honey, molasses, substitute, and fake sugars, etc.
- Man-made unnatural vegetable oils and fats, except extra virgin olive oil, and all products containing them.
- Soy and soybean–based foods.
- Table salt.
- Grains, nuts, seeds and legumes that have not been properly prepared, including all products containing them.
- High-carbohydrate diets.
- Diets that do not contain adequate amounts of protein and fat from animals, i.e. meats and eggs.
- Low-fat diets.
For details see Foods That Damage, Foods That Heal
How Stress Contributes to Poor Health
Emotional stress, losses, accidents, injuries, relationship and
financial worries and concerns, and being unhealthy physically also
adversely affects your health. That is because stresses make your body
run on its “fight/flight” nervous system which adversely affects many
processes throughout your body as listed in this article,
Deep Breathing Exercises Help You Heal.
However, when you are physically healthy you are more able to handle the
ups and downs of stress in your life. Physical health is influenced by:
- The body.
- The mind.
The mind can cause psychosomatic symptoms, pains and reactions that
aren’t actually physical but they feel physical. The mind can also cause
emotional and mental reactions. To understand how the mind works read
Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health.
How Your Parents Influenced Your Health
Babies inherit their parents’ “nutritional status” upon conception,
as Dr. Price writes in Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, Chapter 21:
“Of the many problems on which the experience of the primitive races can
throw light, probably none is more pressing than practical procedures
for improving child life.
Since this has been shown to be largely dependent upon the architectural
design, as determined by the health of the parental germ cells
(genes/DNA) and by the prenatal environment of the child, the program
that is to be successful must begin early enough to obviate [to
anticipate and prevent or eliminate] by effective measures these various
disturbing forces.
The normal determining factors that are of hereditary origin may be
interrupted in a given generation but need not become fixed
characteristics in the future generations. This question of parental
nutrition, accordingly, constitutes a fundamental determining factor in
the health and physical perfection of the offspring.”
This means that if either parent has poor health, their offspring will also have poor health.
Bee’s Candida Program Improves Anyone’s Health
Three Food Groups
- Protein
- Fats
- Carbohydrates (carbs) are foods that are not classified as protein
or fat, which are foods that grow in soil (ground, dirt), including
vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, etc.
How You Can Get Healthy
Candida, bacteria, parasites, and cancer cannot be cured by “killing
them off” or by “trying to get rid of them” as the medical industry
claims, because their theories are against Nature’s Laws on Health and
Healing. Candida, bacteria, parasites and cancer, as well as any other
health issues, are only cured by getting healthy, which is done by:
- Consuming the correct combination of nutrients that all Humans need in order to be healthy).
- Eliminating toxins and foods that contribute to poor health.
- Eliminating damaging foods.
It’s like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile
representing the poor condition of the body. You cannot get rid of the
manure pile by killing off the flies. Instead you must clean up the
manure pile, which means
getting healthy according to Nature’s Laws on Health and Healing.
Change Over to Bee’s Program Slowly & Gradually
It is best to start this program by making changes slowly and gradually,
in order to allow your body time to adjust to each change so it is does
not become overwhelmed with healing and detoxifying symptoms. If you
make the changes gradually it will also give you more control and you
will be more successful, therefore avoiding feelings of failure and
despair.
To gradually change over to this program follow the instructions in Curing Candida, How to Get Started.
While you are working on eliminating sugar, grains, high–carb foods,
etc., at the same time increase meats, eggs, and good saturated fats
like butter and unrefined coconut oil. Good saturated fats provide an
excellent, and much more efficient source of energy than carbs that run
your body on glucose/sugars. They also detoxify and reconstruct all cell
membranes so they are healthy, and they help pull nutrients out of
foods.
Meats, eggs, and good fats are the easiest foods for your body to digest
compared to the digestion of carbohydrates (plant foods) that require
more body energy and resources. As you make changes you will experience
withdrawal symptoms and cravings, as well as detoxifying and healing
symptoms because your body is finally getting the nutrition it needs to
heal itself the way Nature intended. However, good unadulterated
(uncontaminated) foods will cause reactions, which should not be
mistaken for allergic or disease reactions, since they are created by
the body itself in order to heal and detoxify.
Healing reactions are exactly the same reactions as allergic reactions,
but that is why many people mistake healing reactions as being allergic
reactions. The body only has one way to respond to toxins or to good
healing foods—see
Allergies, What They Are, & How to Treat Them and
Healing Foods, Herbs & Spices Create Healing Reactions.
For help with food cravings and reactions see these article:
How to Control Food Cravings.
Step 1: Eliminate Foods and Toxins That Are Damaging to Health
Eliminate sugars of all kinds, including fruits & dairy products except butter.
Eliminating sugar is one of the most important aspects of any program
that improves health, which includes eliminating sugar and all forms of
it, including lactose in dairy products (except butter), honey, maple
syrup, molasses, glucose, fructose, lactose, and all sugar substitutes,
i.e. NutraSweet, aspartame, saccharin, etc. – see the partial list
below.
Dairy Product Notes: Yogurt and kefir are also not good for unhealthy
people because they are not able to digest lactose and proteins in dairy
products. Even though yogurt or kefir can be fermented long enough to
lower the lactose content, lactose actually changes into another sugar,
called galactose.
The two rules regarding lactose, which is the sugar in dairy products, are:
- The higher the butterfat content the lower the lactose (sugar),
therefore the sugar in butter is the lowest of any other kinds of dairy
product.
- The butterfat in dairy products helps the body digest the lactose
(sugar) and proteins (casein), so the higher the butterfat the easier
they are to digest.
All fruits are also very high in sugar (fructose) and should not
be consumed until you are healthy. Some vegetables are also high in
sugar so these must also be eliminated, i.e. carrots, yams, sweet
potatoes, parsnips, beets, and many others.
Even though lemons and limes are allowed on this program, they should
only be consumed in small amounts since they contain fructose. Fructose
is one of the worst sugars for health because of how the body processes
it compared to other kinds of sugars. Some people cannot tolerate any
lemons and limes until they are further along in the program. So be
cautious!
Sugar is also found is most processed foods such as luncheon meats,
ketchup, soup, etc. so that is why processed foods should be eliminated.
See
Sugars, Sugar Substitutes, and Artificial Sweeteners.
Here’s a partial list of sugar substitutes and artificial sweeteners:
- aspartame
- carbohydrate
- carob powder
- corn starch
- crystalline
- dextrin dextrose
- disaccharides
- galactose
- glucose
- levulose
- maltitol
- maltodextrin
- maltose (malt sugar)
- malts of any kind
- manitol
- mannitol
- mono-saccharides
- NutraSweet
- polydextrose
- polysaccharides
- ribose
- saccharin
- sorghum
- suamiel
- succanat
- sucrose
All sugar substitutes damage health, and most of them are neurotoxic, meaning they damage the brain and nervous system.
Stevia is the only sweetener that is allowed on this program,
but it should only be consumed in very small amounts. Like all sugar,
it increases cravings for sugar and high carbohydrate foods. Also be
sure to
buy ground green stevia leaf, and not any kind of processed stevia. However,
some people are unable to tolerate any stevia until they have progressed further on this program, so be cautious!
The fact that sugar greatly damages health has been known for many
years, mainly because of Linus Pauling. He is the only person ever to
receive two unshared Nobel Prizes – for Chemistry (1954) and for Peace
(1962). He concluded that white blood cells need a high dose of vitamin
C, and so he developed his theory that high doses of vitamin C were
needed to combat the common cold, the flu and even cancer.
Did you know that vitamin C and sugar have similar chemical structures
so that means they compete with one another for entry into the cells.
If there is more sugar around less vitamin C is allowed into the cell,
and vice versa.
It is interesting that taking vitamin C also helps curb sugar, alcohol
and high carbohydrate cravings. Since our bodies cannot make vitamin C
on it’s own it must be obtained from foods or supplements on a daily
basis.
Here are a few of the bad effects sugar has on your health — for a complete list see
143 Reasons Why Sugar is Ruining Your Health:
- Sugar upsets mineral relationships in the body
- Sugar interferes with absorption of calcium and magnesium
- Sugar can interfere with the absorption of protein
- Sugar can change the structure of protein
- Sugar can increase the body’s fluid retention
- Sugar can cause hormonal imbalances
- Sugar is an addictive substance and can be intoxicating, similar to alcohol
- Sugar decreases oxygen to the cells
High–Carb Foods & Sugars Cause Insulin Resistance
Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas. It helps the body utilize
blood glucose (blood sugar) by binding with receptors (openings) on
cells like a key would fit into a lock. Once the insulin has unlocked
the door, the glucose can pass from the blood into the cell. Inside the
cell, glucose is either used for energy or stored for future use by the
liver and muscles in the form of glycogen.
The body’s cells can become insulin resistant in trying to protect
themselves from the toxic effects of high insulin, which is required to
regulate blood sugar levels on a diet high in sugar and/or
carbohydrates. This causes the cells to down–regulate their receptor
activity and the numbers of their receptors, so they do not have to
receive “that noxious stimuli” all the time.
It is like having this loud disgusting music being played and you have
to turn down the volume. Insulin resistance leads to blood sugar
problems like hypoglycemia and diabetes, and to high blood pressure.
It is a less known fact that insulin also stores magnesium. But if your
cells become resistant to insulin they cannot store magnesium, so it is
lost through urination. Magnesium is important for relaxing muscles,
including muscle tissue in blood vessels, the heart, etc. What happens
when you cannot store magnesium because the cell is resistant? You lose
magnesium which makes your blood vessels and muscles constrict,
including your heart muscle.
This causes blood pressure to increase and reduces energy since
intracellular magnesium is required for all energy producing reactions
that take place in the cell. But most importantly, magnesium is also
necessary for the action of insulin and for making insulin. When your
insulin is raised you lose magnesium, and the cells become even more
insulin resistant. This becomes a vicious cycle that can begin even
before you were born. This is another very good reason not to eat sugar
and high carbohydrate foods.
Fat cells in the body are the last kind of cells to become insulin
resistant, compared to muscle cells, so insulin has more lasting affects
on them. Insulin causes the body to turn glucose (carbs) into fat, and
it does not allow the body to burn fat for energy so a person can
maintain their weight. This is the main cause of overweight and obesity.
Contrary to popular belief, overweight people do not gain because they
consume more calories than they burn, nor it is caused by a lack of
exercise. Exercise simply increases hunger, which causes a vicious
circle for people who are overweight—this information is from the book
Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taube.
It also is not the number of calories that cause weight gain, instead it
is the “kind of calories”. The way to lose weight is to consume high
“good” natural fats, moderate protein and low carbs (plant foods) as
this program recommends. That kind of diet allows the body to change
over from running on glucose/carbs to running on “good” fats, enabling
it to burn up fat tissues (utilize the fatty acids in fat cells), so the
person can lose weight.
When the body changes over to running on fats, rather than
glucose/carbs, it goes into a condition called ketosis. Ketosis is a
very normal and natural condition for the body, which is not dangerous
in any way. It is unlike ketoacidosis, which is a life–threatening
condition commonly associated with Type 1 diabetes and insulin–dependent
Type 2 diabetes, since dietary ketosis is very beneficial to health.
Actually the heart, brain, and nervous system are healthier running on
ketone bodies, rather than glucose, and the overall need for glucose by
the body will be much lower.
When the body is on a ketogenic diet there is no need for carbohydates
to maintain blood sugar levels because 58% of protein and 10% of good
fats can be changed into glucose inside the body as needed. For more
information see
Ketosis Myths and Facts on the Low-Carbohydrate Diet.
Eliminate Unnatural Fats & Oils, Soybean Products, and Processed Foods
Anyone who is unhealthy cannot afford to jeopardize their health by
consuming toxic and damaging oils and fats, so they must avoid all
unnatural man-made hydrogenated (trans-fats) and polyunsaturated fats
and oils made from vegetables oils, except extra virgin olive oil.
Man-made fats and oils are not only toxic and increase the body’s need
for vitamin E and other antioxidants, but they also damage the entire
body because
they act just like plastic in the body. You wouldn’t melt down Tupperware and eat it, so you do not want to eat any plastic fats and oils.
The hydrogenation process makes trans-fats, which are more damaging than
any other oils and fats because it employs: 1) high heat, 2) a metal
catalyst such as nickel, zinc, copper, or other reactive metals and 3)
hydrogen gas. This is a volatile combination designed to extract and
process oils, but it results in an extremely toxic product that the body
reacts to like other toxins/poisons.
Also these fats and oils go rancid very easily, even when refrigerated
and often they are rancid when purchased. The most common man-made fats
to avoid are derived from plants, including canola (from rape seed),
soy, safflower, sunflower, soybean, and corn.
The plants from which these oils and fats are produced have evolved a
variety of toxins designed to protect themselves from “predators” such
as grazing animals, insects, etc. and their seeds contain a variety of
toxins.
Unfortunately the body will incorporate these fats and oils into every
cell, which changes the cell membrane’s structure. When these plastic
fats and oils are incorporated into the cells’ membranes it makes them
flabby so that they lack integrity and necessary stiffness,
which means they are weak.
For this reason all unnatural man-made fats and oils, found in
margarine, shortening, mayonnaise, salad dressing, canned meats, most
commercial baked goods and processed foods, should not be consumed, even
by healthy people.
Do not eat Soybeans and Soy-based foods, additives or derivatives –
Soy and all soybean based products are toxic and damaging to the body!
Soybeans contain large quantities of natural toxins or “anti-nutrients,”
including potent enzyme inhibitors that block the action of enzymes
needed for protein digestion. These inhibitors are “not” deactivated
during ordinary cooking and can produce serious gastric distress,
reduced protein digestion and chronic deficiencies in amino acid
(proteins) uptake.
Soybeans are also high in phytic acid, present in the bran or hulls of
all seeds, which blocks the absorption of essential minerals – calcium,
magnesium, copper, iron and especially zinc – in the intestinal tract.
For more information about the damaging effects of soy and soy based
products see:
Soy Alert!.
Processed Foods should be eliminated. Not only do they contain
damaging substances and ingredients like additives, preservatives,
pesticides, emulsifiers, etc., but it almost impossible to find products
that do not contain man-made oils and fats such as canola, safflower,
corn, etc. Any processed foods that contain water will also contain
fluoride, which is very toxic and damaging.
Eliminate foods high in carbohydrates
All carbohydrates (plant foods) change into glucose (blood sugar) in the
body so it is important to only consume those that are lowest in sugars
and starches. Even though starches are digested and absorbed more
slowly than sugars, their energy is stored as complex strands of sugar
molecules (starch), that
act just like sugar in the body. That is why grains are just as addictive as sugar.
After being off all sugar and grains for a few days your cravings for
them will decrease. A high-complex-carbohydrate diet is nothing more
than a high-glucose diet or a high-sugar diet. High carb foods include
breads, pasta, pizza, cereals, baked goods, potatoes, beets, some
squashes, corn, parsnips, sweet potatoes, yams, carrots, etc.
Eliminate all grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes*
Note: *Legumes (a French word), are plants with seed pods, i.e. beans
like kidney, navy or lima beans, and peas (they do not include green,
yellow, wax or string beans).
All grains have a high sugar index just like sugar, and like sugar they
are damaging to health and create insulin resistance within the cells.
In addition, some grains contain gluten, which is an elastic gluey
protein found in wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut, triticale, and
it is also hidden in an endless variety of processed foods. Triticale is
a new hybrid grain with the properties of wheat and rye, while spelt
and kamut are gluten-containing wheat variations (despite claims to the
contrary) and are likely to cause health problems similar to other wheat
varieties.
Grains that are safer to consume are more seed‐like than grain‐like, and
they do not contain gluten. These grains include amaranth, buckwheat,
millet and quinoa. Brown rice is also a safer kind of grain that doesn’t
contain gluten.
However, all of these grains are high in carbs, so they should not be consumed until you are healthy, even then they must be properly prepared to be fit for human consumption.
Even when it is safe for you to consume grains and legumes, they must be
properly prepared because they have a coating on them called phytic
acid that combines with calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and especially
zinc in the intestinal tract and blocks their absorption. They also have
an enzyme coating that interferes with protein digestion.
This is why a diet high in such foods may lead to serious mineral
deficiencies, bone loss (osteoporosis) and other related diseases,
including Parkinson’s, and erratic unstable heart beats. Also improperly
prepared grains, seeds, nuts, legumes, bran, etc. can cause irritable
bowel syndrome, colon cancer, Crohn’s disease, and many other adverse
affects.
Since grains, seeds, nuts, and legumes are plant foods (carbs), like all
plant foods they have cell walls made out of fiber, called cellulose,
that humans are unable to digest. Since all of the nutrients in
carb/plant foods are inside their cell walls, i.e. locked inside, unless
they are released by breaking down the cell wall. The only way to
obtain nutrients from carbs (plant foods), and make them digestible to
humans is to break down their cell walls (celluose, which is a wood
fibre) that is indigestible, which can only be done:
- By long enough fermentation, i.e. like sauerkraut is fermented.
- By cooking them long enough.
So even after soaking grains, nuts, seeds or legumes they must be
fermented or cooked long enough so their nutrients are available for
digestion. That is why sour dough fermentation of grains are safe to
consume, however they are still high in starches that change directly
into sugar/glucose in the body.
Safer grains like brown rice, amaranth, buckwheat, millet and quinoa,
and legumes like peas, lentils, kidney beans, chick peas, navy beans,
lima beans, etc. must be cooked long enough,
however because they are high in starch they are not included on this program.
There are many more problems with nuts and seeds, since they cannot be
fermented, and if they could, no one would like eating them. Cooking
nuts and seeds also presents problems. Cooked nuts would not appeal to
most people, unless they were added to foods like stew, chili, soup,
etc. that are cooked long enough. Even then nuts should be crushed up or
ground up so they cook more easily.
Roasting or toasting nuts and seeds may not cook them long enough,
depending upon the hardness and size of the nut or seed. Sesame or
celery seeds might cook long enough when toasted since they are small.
Almonds would have to be finely sliced, but they will burn before they
are cooked long enough. That is why
nuts and seeds are not included on this program.
The fact is, IF you consume any carbs (plant foods) that are not
fermented or cooked long enough they end up undigested in your large
intestine. Any undigested foods forces your large intestine to ferment
them by creating bugs, bacteria, fungi/candida/yeast that produce
digestive enzymes to digest them. In other words, your large intestine
changes into a fermentation pot/chamber, which is what causes digestive
issues, i.e. gas, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s, etc.
Animals that nourish themselves primarily on grain and other plant foods
are called herbivores. Some have as many as four stomachs, with teeth
that grind, longer intestines and their digestive system are also longer
than Humans. Many animals, including man, have one stomach, and a much
shorter intestine compared to herbivores. These features allow humans to
digest animal products and natural fats easily, but it means they are
less well adapted to digest plant foods, particularly grains, legumes,
nuts and seeds.
The more fibre foods that are consumed, the harder it is on the
intestines, which have to work very hard at getting rid of all of those
fibers. This makes the bowels move too quickly so nutrients are not
absorbed like they should, and forces the large intestines to ferment
them, which causes gas, bloating, and many other digestive problems.
Fibers are never a solution for constipation. The solution to
constipation is plenty of “good” natural saturated fats, meats, eggs,
and low-carbs that are properly prepared. Those good fats also slow
digestion so more nutrients are absorbed, and fats help pull nutrients
out of foods.
In fact meats, eggs and natural fats from animals are the very easiest
foods for humans to digest. That’s why the Eskimos and Masai Warriors in
Africa were the two healthiest groups Dr. Weston A. Price studied, as
documented in his book
Nutrition and Physical Degeneration but this online source does not include all chapters. You can buy his book at
Amazon.com.

Eliminate as many sources of toxins as you can
Make every effort to eliminate as many sources of toxins possible — see
Sources of Toxins & Poisons,
Household Toxins Checklist, and
Environmental Toxins.
Step 2: Build Up Overall Health with Diet & Basic Supplements
You can only increase your overall health and strength by consuming all
of the nutrients your body needs in order to heal and detoxify itself.
- Protein from meats and eggs.
- High natural fats & oils, including oil soluble vitamins A, D & E, and omega-3 essential fatty acid supplements.
- Consume low carbohydrate foods.
The recommended daily protein, fat and carb ratios are calculated according to
The Optimal Diet that is a dietary model of human nutrition devised and implemented by Dr. Jan Kwasniewski, Poland—here’s how to
Calculate Protein, Fat & Carb Ratios.
All foods must be as fresh and natural as possible (unprocessed), i.e. direct from Nature. Ideal Healthy Foods Include:
- Meats such as beef, lamb, and bison that are free–range and grass–fed.
- Pork, ham and bacon from pigs that are free–range and fed their natural diet.
- Chickens that are free–range and allowed to eat their natural diet
which includes insects, worms, small animals, grass, etc. like other
birds.
- Good fats and oils include unrefined coconut oil, butter, lard,
chicken and goose fat, tallow (beef fat), fish fats and oils. Fats and
oils should not include any “new-fangled” man-made fats, including oils,
shortening, and margarines from plant sources, except extra virgin
olive oil.
- Unnatural man-made fats and oils include those made from canola
(rape seed), safflower, sunflower, soybean, nuts, seeds, corn, etc. and
any hydrogenated fats or oil (trans-fats), along with all improperly
processed oils.
- Vegetables should be from reliable sources and not irradiated, i.e. zapped with radiation.
NOTE: Use of the word “organic” is not regulated, therefore it can be
used by anyone even if a food is organic or not. “Certified organic” is
highly regulated and has to meet certain standards in order to carry the
designation. Organic and “Certified organic” standards are different in
each country, with places like Chile, Mexico and China having lower
standards than the United States and Canada.
Protein from Meats and Eggs
It is important that unhealthy people eat the amount of protein required
by their bodies from a selection of quality protein foods such as
animal meats and eggs. Proteins are found in all types of food, but only
meats, and eggs from animal sources contain complete proteins,
providing the eight essential amino acids that your body cannot produce
on its own.
Vegetables, fruits and grains contain incomplete proteins, and also do
not contain the fat-soluble vitamins required by the body for absorbing
and utilizing protein, minerals, vitamins and other nutrients.
Amino acids (made by the body from protein) provide the structure of all
living things and in the human body they are in the cells that make up
muscles, ligaments, tendons, organs, glands, nails, hair and body fluids
(except bile and urine). Enzymes, hormones, and genes (DNA & RNA)
are also made up of various amino acids.
Protein from animals have the unique quality of slowing the breakdown of
carbohydrates, which decreases the need for insulin secretion by the
pancreas. Animal protein also stimulates glucagon release by the
pancreas. Glucagon is the hormone that unlocks our stored fuel. It also
helps produce hydrochloric acid in the stomach and stimulates the gall
bladder to let down bile into the small intestines.
Please note: Use of the word “free-range” is not regulated either, so it
can be used by anyone at will, just like the words “natural” or
“organic.” Companies can claim their eggs are free-range even if there
is only a small window that lets in sunlight. Free-range really means
that the chickens are outside in the sunlight and are able to forage for
their natural foods that include bugs, worms, insects, beetles, small
animals, and fresh green grass.
Eggs are one of the most nutritious foods you can eat. They are a
great source of high-quality protein and are rich in vitamins and
nutrients essential to health, including B vitamins, vitamin A and
vitamin E. In fact the only reliable and absorbable sources of vitamin B
12 are from animal products, especially organ meats and eggs. Vitamin B
12 is vital to a healthy nervous system and healthy blood and the one of the important nutrients lacking in vegetarians.
Whole organic or certified organic eggs are inexpensive, and are an
incredible source of high-quality nutrients that many of us are
deficient in, especially high-quality protein and fat. The easiest way
to consume eggs is by making
Bee’s Egg Drink—also see these articles about
Eggs. Contrary to popular belief
Eggs Not a Likely Source of Salmonella Contamination.
High “Natural” Fats and Oils
Good fats and oils are equally important to protein in the diet and they
are essential to health. They not only increase the body’s ability to
absorb and utilize nutrients from foods, but also provide the most
efficient source of energy.
Carbohydrates require a lot of the body’s resources and energy in order
digest and utilize them, whereas good saturated fats go directly into
the bloodstream, providing a direct efficient source of energy and
nutrients. They also provide the building blocks for cell membranes and a
variety of hormones and hormone-like substances.
Natural fats act as carriers for important fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E
and K and for the conversion of beta carotene to vitamin A, for mineral
absorption, and for a host of other processes. The kinds of fats
consumed greatly influences the absorption and utilization of vitamin D
as well.
Cholesterol is a molecule which is also called a lipid or fat. It is a
soft, waxy substance found in all cells in your body. Contrary to
propaganda by the drug and medical industry, cholesterol is produced by
the liver from dietary carbohydrates (sugar/glucose), and not from fats
or oils. It is an important part of a healthy body because it is used to
form cell membranes and hormones, and for many other important
functions.
The word “cholesterol” is confusing because foods also contain
cholesterol, which are fats or oils found in animal meats, egg yolks,
dairy products, seeds, nuts, avocados, olives, coconuts, etc. However
dietary fats and oils are not the same as the cholesterol made within
the body by the liver.
Cholesterol has been unjustly demonized by the food, drug and medical
industries, when in fact it is your best friend. Cholesterol’s job is to
repair and protect, and it is essential for nourishing the brain, heart
and nervous system.
The brain is 70% cholesterol and it could not function properly without
it. Hormones, like estrogen and testosterone, are made from cholesterol,
and bile salts (for digestion) are made from cholesterol. Cholesterol
is also a powerful cleanser (antioxidant).
Cholesterol is a substance vital to the cells of all mammals. There is
no such thing as good or bad cholesterol. In fact your body produces
three to four times more cholesterol than you eat, and your body would
make cholesterol even if you consumed absolutely no fats and oils.
The eminent American physician and scientist George Mann called the
diet-heart idea “the greatest scientific deception of this century,
perhaps of any century.”
Healthy fats are natural animal fats and oils from meats and eggs,
and high saturated fats in unrefined coconut oil, in spite of what we’ve
been led to believe. These fats play many important roles in body
chemistry.
Unfortunately saturated fats have been given a bad name by the oil and
food manufacturing industries, with the sole purpose of selling their
products. This is also true for drug companies who perpetuate the
cholesterol myth and low-fat diets in order to sell drugs.
The truth is, natural fats and oils have components found only in them,
which are health-promoting, and all newfangled man-made fats are now
known to be disease-causing. Health-giving saturated fats are stable and
do not become rancid easily, nor do they initiate cancer or irritate
the artery walls like man-made fats and oils do.
Healthy saturated fats are an important part of any healthy meal. It
draws nutrients out of foods and slows digestion so that natural enzymes
and the assimilation process can take place. Healthy fats include
butter, tallow, lard, poultry fats, fish fats and oils, and tropical
fats from palms and coconuts.
Butter from raw milk produced by certified organic grass-fed cows
is a tasty, important saturated fat in the diet. Butter added to
vegetables and meats, ensures proper assimilation of minerals and
water-soluble vitamins in foods.
Some people believe they are intolerate of the proteins in dairy
products because of their reactions, so they have ghee instead. Ghee is a
process that removes milk proteins, including casein, from butterfat.
However, proteins in butterfat are not the reason for such reactions,
since all
Healing Foods, Herbs & Spices Create Healing Reactions.
Note: Ghee is not as healthy as butter because it does not contain important proteins.
Many trace minerals are in butterfat, including manganese, zinc,
chromium, and iodine, as well as Vitamin D and many other nutrients. In
areas far from the sea, iodine in butter protects against goiter
(enlarged or underactive thyroid). Butter is also extremely rich in
selenium, an important trace mineral.
Butter is a unique dairy product because pasteurization does not destroy
its fat soluble vitamins. These include true vitamin A (retinol),
vitamin D, vitamin K and vitamin E, as well as all of their naturally
occurring cofactors needed to obtain maximum effect. Butter is the best
source of these important nutrients.
In fact, vitamin A is more easily absorbed and utilized from butter than
from other sources and it is the best source of true vitamin A. Beta
Carotene is not true vitamin A, found in some vegetables like carrots.
Beta carotene must be converted by the body into retinol (true vitamin
A), which cannot be done by most unhealthy people.
Coconut Oil is another healthy saturated fat that contains many
beneficial nutrients. The fat in coconut oil is easily digested and
absorbed, unlike the unnatural man-made fats or oils that act just like
plastic in the body. It puts little strain on the digestive system and
provides a quick source of energy necessary to promote healing.
Coconut oil, butter, and other saturated fats are absorbed into
bloodstream directly from the intestines through the lymph system,
whereas other fats require pancreatic enzymes and bile to break them
into smaller units which are sent to the liver, where they are processed
before entering the bloodstream.
That is why saturated fats put very little strain on the digestive
system, even for people who have had difficulty digesting fats, have
gall bladder problems or if they do not have a gall bladder.
When buying coconut oil look for one that is cold- or expeller-pressed,
unrefined, unbleached, undeodorized and non-hydrogenated. Extra virgin
is the highest quality – see the
Coconut Oil articles for more information, for the survey done on our group, and sources of unrefined coconut, with websites.
Coconut oil is highly resistant to spoilage and has a long shelf life
(2 years at room temperature), so it is not kept in the refrigerator.
It is kept in the cupboard or on the kitchen counter. Like other
saturated fats coconut oil is solid when cooled below room temperature.
Coconut oil has a high burning point and is the perfect oil for cooking.
It can be used alone, or mixed with butter, lard or other good fats for
cooking and frying.
Coconut oil can be taken by the spoonfuls with meals to aid digestion or
melted on cooked foods. The recommended therapeutic dose is 5.5
tablespoons per day, taken in divided doses 3 times a day with meals
that contain meats or eggs.
Coconut oil is a healing food that can cause healing and detoxifying
reactions, just like any healthy foods do, because it provides the body
with nutrients it needs so it can heal and detoxify itself. To minimize
healing and detoxifying reactions start taking coconut oil at a low dose
(1/2 to 1 teaspoon three times a day) and gradually increase the amount
every 4-5 days, or more depending upon your healing and detoxifying
symptoms, until you reach the maximum therapeutic dose of 5.5
tablespoons per day. It is also important to take coconut oil in divided
doses during the day and not all at once.
Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)
The human body can produce all but two of the fatty acids it needs,
which are omega–3 and omega–6 fatty acids. These two fatty acids are
called essential because we have to get them from food since our bodies
cannot make them from other fats like it does other kinds of fatty
acids.
Most diets today contain an excessive amount of omega–6, therefore it is
important to ensure the diet contains more omega–3 rich foods to offset
this imbalance. Good sources of omega–3s are meats and eggs. However,
the best source of omega–3 is found in fish.
That is because omega–3 in fish is high in two fatty acids crucial to
human health, which are called eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and
docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Flaxseed oil is not recommended for omega–3 because it contains a form
of omega-3, called alpha–linolenic acid (ALA), that must be converted by
the body into the kinds of Omega-3 it can use, which are EPA and DHA
(found in fish oils, and cod liver oil). Most unhealthy people are
incapable of making the conversion of ALA to EPA and DHA, therefore they
need to get omega-3 from fish and not flaxseed oil. In addition, flax
oil is made from a seed, that contains nutrients that block protein
digestion, just like other seed oils.
Evening primrose oil and borage oil are recommended by many health
practitioners however they contain omega–6 and no omega–3, and this diet
contains plenty of omega–6 in meats and eggs.
Fat–Soluble Vitamins
Fat–soluble vitamins include true vitamin A, called retinol, vitamin D,
vitamin E and vitamin K, as well as all of their naturally occurring
cofactors. All of these fat–soluble vitamins are essential to health.
Vitamin A is all–important in our diets since it enables the body
to absorb and utilize proteins and minerals, ensures proper vision,
healthy skin, healthy cells, and is necessary for the production of
hormones, including sex hormones needed for reproduction, etc. It is
also important for the formation of bones and teeth. Protein cannot be
utilized by the body without Vitamin A.
Beta carotene, found in plants, is not a true Vitamin A since it
requires conversion from carotene to “true” vitamin A, called retinol,
in the intestines in order to be utilized by the body. Most unhealthy
people are unable to make this conversion, so it is best to get “true”
oil soluble vitamin A from meats and eggs, and to also take a cod liver
oil supplement, that contains Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty
acid.
Vitamin D is required for calcium and phosphorus absorption and
utilization; phosphorus is a mineral found in protein foods. It is
necessary for growth, for healthy bones and teeth, for proper
development of the brain and nervous systems and for normal sexual
development. Also Vitamin D normalizes blood sugar when there is
adequate calcium in the diet. Vitamin D is actually more of a hormone
than it is a vitamin and it works with saturated fats and other oil
soluble vitamins A and E.
Ordinarily in Summer months the sun produces vitamin D on the oils of
the skin. However, I believe it is difficult, to almost impossible, for
most people today to get vitamin D from the sun since there are so many
factors involved, including having enough oils built up on the skin, not
showering or bathing too often using chlorinated water and soap which
removes natural oils, etc. – see
Vitamin D – Amount of Sun Exposure Required for more details.
That is why I recommend taking cod liver oil all year. See
Cod Liver Oil Brand with Nutrient Levels
which compares some brands, and gives doses, and extra supplements that
are required in order to obtain the recommended daily amounts of
omega-3, and vitamins A and D.
If the cod liver oil product/brand available does not contain enough
vitamins A or D, buy them separately from cod, halibut or shark “liver”
oil capsules, which contain vitamins A and D, or vitamin A only, as
required.
Note: Fish oil only contains omega-3 (EPA & DHA) because it is from
the fish body. However, fish “liver” oil contains all three nutrients,
i.e. omega-3, and vitamins A and D. So if you take fish oil you will
also need to get Vitamins A and D from a separate fish “liver” oil
source, i.e. cod, halibut or shark.
Vitamin E is a very effective antioxidant that can be depleted by
a low–fat diet or by a diet that contains unnatural fats and oils like
canola, soybean, corn, safflower, etc. Vitamin E improves circulation,
promotes normal blood clotting and healing, repairs tissue and reduces
blood pressure.
Consume Low Carbohydrate Foods
Low carbohydrate consumption is an important aspect of any healthy
program because high carbohydrate diets are the main cause of failing
health. Carbohydrates are any foods not classified as protein or fat,
including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, fruits, herbs and
spices.
Since grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, and fruit (except lemons and limes)
are not included on a healthy program this leaves a wide variety of
vegetables, herbs and spices that are healthy to consume. Since it is
very important to consume high fats, proteins, and low carbs on this
program you will need to
Calculate Protein, Fat & Carb Ratios.
Some foods contain all three food groups, i.e. eggs, some vegetables,
herbs, spices, etc. To find out the amount of grams of each food group
contained in foods you eat go to:
http://www.fitday.com. You need to sign up, but there is no obligation.
Do
not translate your gram ratios to any kind of weight or measurement.
Instead, use a nutritional calculator to find out the quantity of foods
to consume to meet your ratios by following the instructions in Fitday.com – How to use it.
Take Basic Supplements
It is important to take some essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in supplement form in addition to foods.
Only Take Recommended Supplements
You will be much more successful if you only take the supplements listed
below. If you are currently taking any other supplements or herbs, or
you are taking drugs, hormones (birth control pills), antibiotics,
medicines, etc. it is advisable that you gradually go off of them since
they will interfere with the nutrients on this program and even stop or
slow the healing processes.
Many supplements, herbs, extracts, and other natural substances are
recommended by some naturopaths, dieticians, and other healthcare
practitioners because they do not know or understand what constitutes a
“truly” healthy nutritious diet. Consequently they recommend many
supplements that are easily obtained on this healthy program.
Your body is smart enough to balance out all of its nutrient levels by giving it what it needs.
Remember that “More Is Not Better!
Many healthcare practitioners, although well—meaning, treat specific
symptoms, malfunctioning organs, and disorders, just like doctors do
with drugs. They may perscribe extracts to treat the thyroid, adrenal
glands, and so on. However this often causes more harm than good. That
is because such substances can throw off already delicate hormone
balances. Therefore the focus must be on treating the “cause” which is
mainly the lack of nutrients, rather than on the “signs” of poor health.
As the body heals and detoxifies itself naturally it becomes stronger,
and all organs throughout the body will begin to normalize. However, if
you are taking hormones or other nutrients, like iodine or medications
for the thyroid, or adrenal hormones it will throw those organs into a
tizzy; so they won’t be able to recover and function normally. Instead
their functioning will become extremely
erratic and unpredictable.
Most “extra” supplements are totally unnecessary, often causing adverse
side effects or they are a waste of money. A good example of this are
iodine supplements like Lugol’s, as well as kelp, seaweed and other
green supplements. Not only are green supplements too strong for sick
people to handle but they also contain too much iodine, since your body
only requires “trace amounts” of it. All of your body’s requirements
for iodine can easily be met by eating butter, by taking a “good” ocean
sea salt and by drinking natural water. The fact is that too much iodine
is just as damaging to the body as too little.
Minerals can only be utilized in the body if you get the correct
combination of good fats recommended on this program, including cod
liver oil (contains omega 3, and vitamins A & D), vitamin E,
saturated fats like unrefined coconut oil, butter, lard, and other
animals fats. Of course all of the nutrients work together on this
programs, i.e. protein, vitamins, minerals, fats, etc.
Your body makes amino acids very easily from real foods like meats and eggs, and
they are so much easier to digest than any type of processed amino acid supplements. Also see
Not Recommended Treatments, Supplements, Etc..
Macrominerals
There are only seven (7) macrominerals required by the body in amounts
of 200 mg or more per day – all of the rest of the minerals are only
required in “trace amounts”:
- calcium – supplement required
- magnesium – supplement required
- chloride – contained in ocean sea salt
- sodium – contained in ocean sea salt
Note: chloride plus sodium IS salt.
- phosphorus – found in all animal meats and eggs
- potassium – found in many foods, i.e. eggs, meats and vegetables (especially green one)
- sulphur – found in eggs, meats, lemons, garlic and many other foods
Basic Supplements List:
Calcium and Magnesium Citrate must be bought separately and taken
in equal amounts. When bought separately it is easier to take more or
less of each as needed, in case you need to take more or less of either
one. Many products combine calcium and magnesium supplements with a
ratio of 2:1 (calcium to magnesium), in which case a separate supplement
of magnesium citrate is necessary in order to equal out the ratios. Do
not buy calcium or magnesium supplements containing other nutrients like
potassium, zinc, vitamin D, etc.
Most physicians, health care practitioners, and nutritionist recommend
taking 1,000 to 1,500 mg of calcium daily. Taking high amounts of
calcium without magnesium will deplete magnesium in the body, so taking
such high amounts of calcium will be very damaging in the long run. Some
may recommend magnesium also be taken, but many do not. Some may only
recommend a ratio of 1:3 calcium to magnesium. However, this is not
correct and it can cause serious health issues.
Most people nowadays are more deficient in magnesium than in calcium, so it is important to
take at least an equal amount, or a 1:1 ratio,
until you see how your body reacts. The amounts may vary a little,
depending upon the amount of calcium in your diet and the condition of
your digestive system.
Most people will do very well on 600 mg each of calcium and magnesium per day, taken in two doses of 300 mg each.
Also consuming grains, nuts, and seeds that aren’t properly prepared
binds up minerals in the intestines, so they are unavailable to your
body. That is because Nature coats them with a substance called phytates
which is necessary to protect them, that must be removed by proper
soaking and/or leavening (like sourdough) before they are fit for human
consumption. They also are coated with an enzyme that interferes with
protein digestion – see
Grains, Nuts, Seeds & Legumes Must Be Properly Prepared.
That is why there are no grains, nuts, seeds or legumes on this Candida Diet.
Eggshells are a great source of calcium. Eggshell calcium
contains healthy, balanced calcium because it also contains trace
amounts of other minerals. Eggshell calcium is probably the best natural
source of calcium, and it is easier for your body to digest and absorb
than tablets or capsules. One-half (1/2) teaspoon of powdered eggshells
equals 400 mgs of calcium. See
Eggshell Calcium, How to Make It.
Calcium and Magnesium Doses: Take 300 mg of calcium citrate two
times a day, along with 300 mg of magnesium citrate two times a day, for
a total of 600 mg per day of each. Do not take more than 500 mg of
calcium at a time since your body cannot process it properly. If you
drink 4 cups of
Mineral–Rich Bone Broth
daily you do not need to take any calcium or magnesium supplements.
Also when you consume a whole can of sardines you may only need 1/2 a
dose of calcium. Calcium and magnesium supplements are available at
iHerb.
Vitamins A & D, and Omega-3, Recommended Daily Amounts:
-
Vitamin A: 20,000 to 30,000 IU
-
Vitamin D: 800 to 1,200 IU
-
Omega-3: 2,000 to 3,000 mg (includes EPA plus DHA listed separately on the label.
Note: Fish “livers” contain omega 3 and vitamins A and D, while fish
oil is from the body of the fish and it only contains Omega 3 and no
vitamins A and D.
In Summer the sun produces vitamin D on the oils of the skin, however, I
believe it is difficult to almost impossible, for most people today to
get enough vitamin D from the sun since there are so many factors
involved, including having enough oils built up on the skin, and not
showering or bathing too often using chlorinated water and soap which
removes natural oils, etc.—see
Vitamin D – Amount of Sun Exposure Required for more details.
For that reason I recommend everyone take cod liver oil all year. See
Cod Liver Oil Brand with Nutrient Levels
which compares some brands, and gives doses, and extra supplements that
are required in order to obtain the recommended daily amounts. You
will see in that article that The best overall brand of cod liver oil is
Garden of Life Olde World Icelandic Cod Liver Oil (glass bottle).
Vitamin B Complex, Niacin (B3) & Thiamine (B1)
Available at
iHerb.
All
B vitamins supplements do not have to be balanced, so it is safe to
take extra B vitamins like Niacin (B3) and Thiamine (B1) IF you are also
taking Vitamin B Complex along with them.
Vitamin B Complex, two alternatives:
- Nutritional Yeast “Flakes”—ensure you buy the “flakes” and
not just “nutritional yeast” of any kind, which contain active yeasts
which will cause problems for unhealthy people. There are many good
brands available, including Red Star, Frontier, NOW, KAL, etc. Take two (2) heaping tablespoons per day, mixed into water, soup, Bee’s Egg Drink or other foods.
It has a nutty flavor that most people and children like. It contains
Niacin (B3) which will cause a flush, including red and itchy skin,
which is nothing to be concerned about – see Niacin for more information.
- Vitamin B Complex tablets or capsules—Buy a Vitamin B
Complex brand that is balanced (also called synergistic, which means the
same thing), since the B vitamins work together. It should contain the
following B vitamins (Note: Buy a brand that contains most of the B
vitamins listed below, that is in the amounts given):
- 50 mg Vitamin B-1
(Thiamine)
- 50 mg Vitamin B-2
(Riboflavin)
- 50 mg Niacin (not
niacinamide which is synthetic) – see Note Below
- 50 Vitamin B-6
(Pyridoxine)
- 50 mcg Vitamin
B-12
- 50 mcg Biotin
- 1 mg Folic Acid
- 50 mg
D-Pantothenic Acid
- 50 mg Choline
- 50 mg Inositol
- 50 mg Para
Amino Benzoic Acid (PABA)
Note: If you cannot buy a vitamin B complex that contains niacin, and
instead it contains a non-flushing niacin called niacinamide, you need
to buy “true” niacin (B3) separately and take it in addition to vitamin B complex that contains niacinamide.
Niacin causes a flush, which includes red and itchy skin because it
dilates blood vessels, even the tiniest capillaries, which releases
radiation and is important for the body’s detoxification processes. Be
sure to buy niacin in 50 or 100 mg size, and not 500 mg, otherwise your
niacin flush will be extremely uncomfortable, but it is not damaging. For more information see Niacin (Vitamin B3).
Radiation from the sun and other sources, along with many other toxins,
build up in the body – remember all those terrible sunburns? Radiation
is eliminated by taking niacin (B3), which also helps the body get rid
of heavy metals, other toxins, and it also oxygenates the body. Niacin
is very important for the detoxification pathways in the body so they
can function like they should. But as always, all nutrients work
together, so Niacin alone doesn’t help.
A niacin flush causes the skin to turn red and tingle, and it will feel
hot and itchy. This particularly happens in the face, neck, and ears.
Dry skin has also been experienced. The hot feeling is similar to “hot
flashes” experienced by women during menopause. “Flushing” occurs
because the capillaries (tiny blood vessels) are opening up in the skin.
This usually lasts less than 1 hour, but it is not harmful in any way. Do not buy non-flushing niacin, called niacinamide, since it does not provide the same benefits as “true” Niacin (B3). Do
not be concerned if you do not get a niacin flush when you first start
on this program, and do not increase doses because you aren’t getting a
flush.
Take Thiamine (B1) in addition to Vitamin B Complex and niacin.
Additional thiamine improves sleep, prevents nightmares, improves
appetite, helps digestion, helps the bowels move, improves mood, memory
and depression, helps alleviate cravings, increases serotonin, helps the
heart and circulation, improves liver function, and is vital for the
brain and nervous system.
Vitamin B Doses – Take all B vitamins with meals – all doses below are taken two times a day.
- Take 50 mg of Vitamin B Complex OR one heaping tablespoon of Nutritional Yeast Flakes – see Note below.
- Take 50 mg of niacin (B3) twice a day if “true” niacin is not in the Vitamin B complex. Be sure to buy 50 or 100 mg tablets and not 500 mg. If the tablet is 100 mg cut it in half so you aren’t getting too much at one time.
- Take 100 mg of thiamine (B1).
Note: Even though Nutritional Yeast Flakes contain niacin (B3)
and thiamine (B1) it is advisable to take additional doses of these two
important B vitamins.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
Note: To avoid getting loose stools (diarrhea) from vitamin C, which is
called the bowel tolerance level, start with 500 mg 2-3 times a day and
gradually increase it. Diarrhea is also a detoxifying symptom that your
body creates in order to get rid of toxins, so don’t always suspect
vitamin C when it occurs.
Ascorbic acid powder or crystals are much less expensive to take than
vitamin C tablets. Because ascorbic acid can upset the stomach it is
best to take it with meals. Also it can be hard on the teeth, so rinse
your mouth well after drinking it.
Do not use sodium ascorbate, since it contains calcium and
magnesium, or possibly baking soda. If there is any calcium and
magnesium in your vitamin C you will not be able to regulate taking the
correct amounts of calcium and magnesium. Baking soda is high in sodium
which is diuretic, meaning it makes the body get rid of water and
minerals along with it.
Vitamin C Dose: Take 4,000 mg total per day, divided between 3
meals. Start with 500 mg twice a day and gradually increase it to avoid
getting loose stools. If you get loose stools lower the dose for awhile
and take more time to increase the amounts.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E (natural source only). Natural source vitamin E is indicated by the “d” in front of the different types of vitamin E, i.e. d-alpha-tocopherol. The synthetic version begins with “dl”,
i.e. dl-alpha-tocopherol. Clear Base or dry base formulas are soy-free,
but evidently soy-derived vitamin E supplements do not contain the
damaging substances found in other soy products.
Vitamin E Dose: Take 200 IU twice a day or 400 IU once a day. If
you are already taking a higher dose of vitamin E continue on that dose
since your body will be used to it. However, no one should take more
than 800 IU per day, except for short periods of time since higher doses
can interfere with the balance of fats, oils, and oil soluble vitamins.
Minerals
The best way to obtain all of the minerals your body needs is:
- Eat
the correct ratios of protein to fat to carbs from nutrient-dense foods as close to Mother Nature as possible — see Calculate
Protein, Fat & Carbs Ratios. The high “good” fats diet, along
with supplements, helps pull nutrients out of all foods consumed,
including minerals, and there are many important minerals in meats and
eggs.
- By
taking calcium/magnesium supplements, noted above.
- Consume at
least 1 cup of a mineral-rich bone broth per day. It should be a “true” bone broth where the
bones have been soaked and cooked in an acidic medium, and simmered long enough on low heat to
pull the minerals out of the bones – See Mineral-Rich Bone Broth recipe.
- By
drinking, and cooking with, good filtered tap water that contains
natural minerals as close to Mother Nature as possible. Do not use
reverse osmosis or distilled water, since they are devoid of minerals,
and actually leach (pull out) minerals in the body. Adding minerals to
the water doesn’t help, since it won’t stop the leaching, and it isn’t
possible for processed minerals to duplicate Mother Nature’s natural
minerals.
Therefore it is better to use a simple filter, like Brita or PUR, which
filters out chlorine and some contaminates, so you are getting natural
occurring minerals, or buy a good reputable Spring water. Another
alternative is to boil water for 30 minutes to get rid of chlorine and
some contaminates.
Do not be concerned about fluoride in your water, since you will be
eliminating all other sources of toxic fluoride on this program,
including dental treatments, toothpaste, and processed foods and drinks.
Fluoride is much more dangerous when there are many sources that
accumulate in your body, rather than just one source like water.
You should never drink softened water since it is high in sodium which
is diuretic, meaning it makes the body lose water along with minerals.
- Consume “good” ocean sea salt every day, which contains over 84
minerals, i.e. A “good” ocean sea salt, i.e. Celtic brand available at Selina Naturally, or Le Paludier, which is available in many health stores and online.
Ocean sea salt provides proper amounts of “true” sodium and chloride,
which are 2 of the 7 macrominerals required in higher amounts by the
body. As noted above, adequate macrominerals, other than calcium,
magnesium, sodium and chloride, are contained in the diet, i.e.
potassium, sulphur, and phosphorus.
Do not use Redmond’s Sea salt since it only contains 54 minerals, and not 84 minerals like “true” ocean sea salts do.
The grey color of ocean sea salt indicates the amount of minerals in it,
and it should be moist. The larger the crystals and the moister it is,
the more minerals it will contain, as opposed to fine grades of the same
salt that are lighter grey.
Since good ocean sea salt is coarse and moist it isn’t possible to grind
it in a regular pepper or salt grinder, so special grinders must be
used. It can be ground it up in a coffee grinder, but the grinder should
be cleaned and left to dry out otherwise it will cause rust. But it is
much better to sprinkle large moist crystals on foods or into drinks
with your fingers, rather than grinding them up.
Ocean Sea Salt Doses:
Consume 1.5 teaspoons of large gray crystals or 1 teaspoon of fine
grades (ground up) per day of “good” ocean sea salt, taken in divided
doses with meals by sprinkling them on foods and/or added to water. Good
ocean sea salt contains over 84 minerals, i.e. Celtic brand available
at Selina Naturally, OR a less expensive ocean sea salt like this one Le Paludier – Organic Unrefined Coarse Grey Sea Salt available in many health stores and online.

How to Improve Digestion
Most unhealthy people have digestive problems, including nausea, stomach aches, nausea, acid reflux (heartburn), Hiatal Hernia,
irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation,
etc. While many health programs recommend cleansing or cleanses of the
bowels and other organs in the body, these treatments can be very harsh.
Liver, kidney and gallbladder cleanses dump too many toxins into the
body at one time, which most unhealthy people cannot handle.
There have been cases of people with life threatening conditions caused
by such cleanses, requiring emergency room treatment. Also, liver and
gall bladder cleanses can release liver and galls stones into the bile
ducts that can block and tear them, requiring emergency surgery.
All cleanses are a combination of herbs or ingredients which many
unhealthy people cannot handle, not only because it causes too many
toxins to be dumped into the system at one time, but also because the
ingredients themselves are often too strong, causing adverse reactions.
However, this program contains high “good” fats, including fat soluble
nutrients (omega 3, vitamins A, D & E), which are very important for
liver and gall bladder health. Over time the diet will normalize the
functioning of all organs, including the liver, gall bladder and
adrenals, and it may dissolve any stones that are present.
The diet, supplements and other treatments recommended will do a good
job of increasing digestion, strengthening the walls of the intestines
(mostly with good saturated fats), increasing good motility of the
intestines, clearing out the liver, adrenals and gall bladder,
increasing kidney function, etc. and will also cleanse and help detoxify
the entire body. It also get rids of all heavy metals such as mercury,
lead and aluminum, etc.
Therefore cleansing treatments are not recommended for any reason,
including liver, kidney, gall bladder or bowel cleanses, except for
self-administered enemas – see the Enema articles.
Fasting is also not recommended. Even though fasting is intended to give
the body a rest and/or to allow it to clear out toxins and wastes,
while your body is fasting it is also not getting the nutrients it needs
for healing and energy. It is more important to give the body what it
needs so it is able to heal itself naturally, which includes cleansing
and detoxification.
Time between meals is important so body can digest foods and supplements
without having to direct its energies towards digesting more food. That
is why snacking is not recommended.
Some people do a type of fasting where they only consume the Bee’s Egg
Drink for a few days at a time, but that is not considered “true
fasting” and it wouldn’t cause problems because you would be getting
plenty of nutrients and energy from the drink.
Stomach Acid Problems
Many people today, and most candida sufferers, have digestive problems,
which is mainly caused by the stomach producing “too little” stomach
acid. We may think our stomachs are “overly acidic” because of
heartburn, sour stomach, or overall stomach upset, nausea and pain, when
in fact having “too little acid” creates exactly the same symptoms as
an “over acid” stomach.
The
technical term for low stomach acidity is “hypochlorhydria,” and a
stomach that is not producing any acid is called “achlorhydria.”
The most common symptoms of low stomach acidity include:
- heartburn (if there isn’t enough stomach acid the valve that closes
the end of the esophagus won’t close properly, so even low stomach acid
can burn the esophagus)
- upset stomach, nausea
- vomiting
- sour stomach
- a heavy feeling, as if the food is just sitting in the stomach in a lump
Our stomachs are supposed to be acidic, so it important that it produce
high concentrations of hydrochloric acid (HCl). When the stomach
produces HCl it also produces bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) which
protects the lining of the stomach from being damaged or eaten up by
HCl. When the stomach doesn’t produce enough HCl, it also will not
produce enough bicarbonate of soda so the stomach can become ulcerated.
When hydrochloric acid is low it causes malnutrition and many digestive
problems. HCl mainly digests protein, breaking it down into small
molecules, which are further digested in the intestinal tract.
Low stomach acid is associated with a higher incidence of
gastrointestinal problems like h. pylori bacteria which cause stomach
ulcers, acid reflux (heartburn), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s
Disease, diarrhea, constipation, etc.
Our stomachs need adequate acid so we can get the benefit of a good diet and the
nutrients it contains, and in order for digestion to proceed like it should throughout the intestines—see more information see Digestion, Digestive Disorders, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Celiac, etc. and Fiber Facts and how they damage health.
How Foods Are Digested
Carbohydrates (carbs) start being digested by enzymes produced in the
mouth – carbs are all foods that are not classified as protein or fat,
including vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, sugar, starches,
herbs, spices, etc. Some carbs also contain protein and fat, such as
grains, nuts, seeds and some vegetables. Some proteins also contain
carbs and fats such as eggs.
Hydrochloric acid (HCl) or stomach acid mainly digests protein. When a
person starts to eat the stomach is stimulated to start producing
hydrochloric acid (HCl). Stomach acid gradually increases during a meal.
When the stomach acid gets high enough, which normally takes about
20-30 minutes after eating, it neutralizes enzymes from the mouth so the
digestion of carbohydrates stops.
Digestive enzymes from the mouth only work on carbs while the mixture is
alkaline. Therefore, if HCl supplements are taken too early it stops
carb digestion in the stomach too soon. HCl also neutralizes any
digestive enzyme supplements, so taking them is a waste. That is why it
is important to take HCl supplements 30-45 minutes after eating a meal.
When the mixture of food, water and HCl (called chyme) empties out of
the stomach it has to go through a small hole 10 mm, which is slightly
larger than the end of a pencil, called the pyloric valve. The mixture
squirts through that small hole in spurts. The rate at which foods empty
out of the stomach is highly regulated. If the mixture is too solid and
doesn’t contain enough fluid it isn’t as able to get through that small
hole. That is why drinking enough fluids with meals is also very
important.
When the mixture starts squirting through that small hole, if the
pancreas detects it contains enough fluids and HCl it is able to do its
job. First the mixture must be made alkaline, so the pancreas pours lots
of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) onto the mixture as it is
squirting through that small hole. Pancreatic digestive enzymes only
work on an alkaline mixture, just like enzymes in the mouth.
Next, the pancreas produces several enzymes which digest carbs, fats and
further digests protein, i.e. protease digests protein, amylase digests
carbs and lipase digests fats. The small intestine also produces
digestive enzymes that only work on an alkaline mixture.
Therefore taking HCl supplements and improving its production in the
stomach, along with having enough fluids with meals, is very important
for proper digestion, whereas taking digestive enzymes is a waste and
doesn’t help digestion.
Improve Digestion with Foods
The following foods stimulate stomach acid production, but sometimes it is necessary to also take HCl supplements.
- Meats and eggs.
- “Good” fats such
as coconut oil, butter, lard, naturally occurring animal fats, etc.
- Good ocean sea salt added to foods and/or added to water.
- Mineral-Rich Bone Broth
How to Increase Stomach Acid Production
- Some people with low stomach acid need to take betaine hydrochloric acid supplements (HCl) 30-45 minutes after eating – see How to Take Hydrochloric Acid Supplements.
- Avoid raw vegetables until digestion improves. All plant
cell walls are made of cellulose fibers that the human digestive system
is incapable of breaking down. Therefore the cellulose cell walls of
plants must be broken down before they are digestible, and in order for
nutrients, including minerals, and enzymes to be available – see Why Cooked Foods Are Healthier. Also see Raw Versus Cooked Vegetables & Fruits, of course candida sufferers would not have any fruits, except small amounts of lemons.
- Do not cook meats or eggs using high heat, and do not overcook them.
Cooking proteins actually pre-digests them, called denaturing. However
overheating or overcooking them makes them lose moisture and binds the
protein molecules tighter together which makes them harder to digest.
Meats can also be pre-digested (denatured), by soaking them in acidic
mediums such as lemon or lime juice, tomato juice, apple cider vinegar,
etc. Marinating meats is a good way to pre-digest or pre-cook them.
- Eat protein and “good” fats with every meal. Protein
stimulates stomach acid production, and protein and fats stimulate the
gall bladder to dump bile into the small intestines. Good fats also are
needed by the liver in order to produce bile.
- Always have ocean sea salt with meals since salt is
important for proper digestion and it also stimulates stomach acid
production. You can add it during cooking or afterward or add it to
water you drink during meals.
- Drink enough fluids with meals so the mixture in the stomach
is able to squirt through the small opening from the stomach into the
first part of the small intestines.
- Chew foods thoroughly to stimulate digestive enzymes in the mouth, and to break up foods into the smallest particles possible for better digestion.
- Eat enough foods at each meal that includes a good balance of proteins, good fats (coconut oil, butter, lard, etc.) and vegetables.
- Eat at least 2 complete meals per day, but not more than 3 meals.
- Avoid snacking in between meals in order to allow time for your body to digest foods properly.
Is Your Gallbladder Ready for Fats?
If you live in North America, chances are you have experienced gall
bladder problems at one time or another. Two things the gallbladder
doesn’t like are bad fats and no fats. Bad fats, like man-made processed
vegetable oils, are difficult to digest and put a lot of stress on the
gallbladder. The gallbladder is a little sac that sits alongside your
liver. The liver produces bile, a substance made from cholesterol that
emulsifies fat and makes it easier to digest.
The gallbladder stores and concentrates bile, and then secretes it into
the small intestines when fats and proteins are present. If you do not
eat fat, the gallbladder won’t get any exercise and can begin to
atrophy.
If you’ve eaten mostly unnatural man–made fats or have spent many years
on a low-fat diet, chances are your gallbladder will need a little work
before you will be able to completely digest generous amounts of good
fats in your diet. Start by eating the recommended amount of proteins,
fats and carbs and by practicing good digestive (above).
Natural fats, i.e. coconut oil, butter, lard, etc. are very easy on the
gall bladder because they do not require bile salts in order to be
digested. If you are just beginning to add fats to your diet after many
years of low-fat foods, your best choice is to start with coconut oil
and butter. For more information see the Digestion articles.
h2 id=”s26″>You Will Experience Many Healing & Detoxifying Symptoms and Reactions
The healing crisis is a reaction that is the result of the activity of
nature’s healing forces in overcoming disease conditions. It happens
when the body becomes overcrowded by wastes and toxins. Cells and
tissues begin to throw off the waste and carry it from the bloodstream
to various eliminating organs including the liver, kidneys, lungs, skin,
nasal passages, ears, throat, and genital organs.
These organs, in turn, become congested and irritated, producing
symptoms such as colds, flue, boils, skin problems (rash, eczema,
psoriasis, rosacea, etc.), kidney and bladder infection, headaches, ear
or eye infection, diarrhea and/or constipation, and fever, to name a
few.
That is the healing crisis, which is a form of healing and elimination.
First the toxins are removed and then the tissues are renewed. These
symptoms and the process of elimination are part of the cure and should
not be suppressed. Although a healing and disease crisis may look alike
they are very different.
A disease crisis is when the body is loaded to the toleration point with
wastes and toxins. The body arouses itself in self-defense and brings
on an acute inflammation such as a cold, fever, etc. If the wastes and
toxins are not eliminated the body adapts itself to function at a lower
energy level. However these wastes and toxins accumulate and inhibit the
organs from performing their normal functions until a chronic disease
occurs.
On the other hand a healing crisis develops because the healing forces
are strengthening. By changing the diet to a highly nutritious one, and
by eliminating as many sources of damaging substances as possible, i.e.
sugar, soy, grains, chemicals, mycotoxins, preservatives, molds, etc.
the body gets stronger, digging into the tissues and eliminating old
chronic waste and toxins.
Skin problems occur because of toxins being eliminated through the skin,
and also because the body externalizes healing to the skin to protect
vital inner organs.
Excessive mucus will also be created in order to clear out toxins, which
occur in the nose, sinuses, throat, bronchial tubes, lungs, digestive
tract, etc. This does not mean there is an infection present, therefore
the symptoms should not be suppressed. This is a time when your body
needs help with its detoxifying efforts.
The most important aspect of the healing crisis is to never go to
extremes when making changes to your diet or life style. It is important
to gradually introduce changes one at a time, allowing the body to
adapt to the changes and adjust itself.
Trying to change too many things at once can be counter-productive,
discouraging and postpone the goal of overall health. That is why it is
important to make changes one step at a time. As you make positive
changes to your diet or life style and as each one becomes
well-integrated into your daily routine, they will replace old “bad”
habits with new “good” habits resulting in a healthier happier existence
with your body. This also allows your body to do its job better, which
is healing and maintaining health. For more information see the “Healing Naturally” articles.
How Long it Takes to Get Healthy
It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you have been unhealthy,
which for most people today is since before they were born. That is
because most people today have inherited a very poor “nutritional
status” from their parents when they were conceived in the womb.
Poor health doesn’t happen overnight. It sneaks up on us slowly but
surely, so it may be impossible to pinpoint exactly when it all started.
So it is important to stay on this program long enough to handle all of
your health problems and issues.
That means most people will need to stay on the program for the number of months they are in age, i.e. if you are 40 years old you need to stay on the program for 40 months. However, if you experience a lot of stress, get injured, etc. it may take you a lot longer.
Even after you are healthy, you cannot eat modern foods and take in
toxins, drugs, etc. which caused you to get sick in the first place. In
order to maintain life-long health you need to continue getting all of
the nutrients on this program otherwise you will become sick again and
again.
The healing processes follow these natural laws, called Hering’s Law of Cures:
- Symptoms of a chronic disease disappear in definite order, going in
reverse through every previous ache, pain, disease, illness, symptom,
injury, etc. This is called “re-tracing.”
- It takes about one month of natural healing for every year since the health problem first appeared.
- Healing progresses from the more vital organs to the less vital
organs; from inside of the body towards the skin and from the top of the
body down.
For more information see Retracing, Healing Reactions & Flare-Ups.
Withdrawal Symptoms are some of the reactions you will
experience. That is when your cravings for sugar, carbohydrates,
alcohol, grain products, and even toxins will increase. At times it may
make you feel as if you are starving, when you actually aren’t. For help
and more information see
Food Cravings, How to Control Them and Withdrawal Symptoms, Cravings, Etc..
Cleansing/Detoxifying Reactions are created by the body when it
is trying to deal with the large numbers of toxins being released. This
will result in excessive mucus being produced in the mucus membranes,
which include sinuses, nose, throat, lungs, the digestive tract,
reproductive organs, etc. Symptoms may also include an upset stomach,
nausea, gas, bloating, belching, muscle and joint aches and pains,
clumsiness, headaches, “brain fog,” etc. Often you may feel like you
have been drugged, with symptoms similar to a bad hangover.
Healing Reactions – In addition to withdrawal symptoms and
cleansing reactions you will experience symptoms that are clearly
healing reactions. The severity and/or number of healing reactions you
experience depends upon how often your body has been exposed to toxins
and/or traumatized during your lifetime with injuries, disease, or
illnesses, and how much detoxifying and healing the body can accomplish.
To help you “endure” these reactions and continue with your program,
keep in mind that any reactions means your body is becoming stronger so
that “healing” is taking place. Every drugless healing practitioner is
well aware of such healing reactions.
For example: The Cancer Clinics in Mexico explain to their patients that
without a healing reaction within the first two weeks of the program
they must be re-evaluated for what could be causing the delay. (This
could be from ingesting things that counteract the program or from using
personal care items such as lotions, cosmetics, hair care items, etc.
that interfere with the program, or not taking the prescribed amount of
coffee enemas.) When a patient experiences a healing reaction all of the
staff rejoices with the patient.
Symptoms Intensify Any symptoms experienced while you were
becoming more and more unhealthy can intensify. This is different person
to person, depending upon areas of their body that were most affected.
Women who have had vaginal yeast infection will find such symptoms will
become more intense and they may change as well. If someone has
experienced a lot of digestive problems, their digestive upsets and
disturbances will increase. If someone had a lot of head-related
symptoms, their symptoms will become worse. And so on.
Symptoms do get worse before they get better. However, as you
progress on the program, your good days will increase and your bad days
will decrease. Natural healing takes time, patience and persistence on
the healing program.
Healing Reactions are Not Allergic Reactions
An allergy is defined as: “A condition in which the body has an
exaggerated response to a substance introduced by inhalation, ingestion,
injection, or skin contact, often manifested by itchy eyes, runny nose,
wheezing, skin rash, hives, diarrhea, gas, bloating, headaches, aching
muscles, joint pain, and many others. Please note that these reactions are exactly the same symptoms as healing reactions.
These reactions are created by the body as a healing response,
indicating that it is working very hard to eliminate and/or minimize the
effects of toxic overloads on the body, or the ingestion of a poison.
There are many other toxic sources in our environment and foods as well,
which add to the toxic overload on the body. Some substances aren’t
merely toxic; they are poisonous, which causes direct debilitating
damage.
It is widely published that allergies are caused by poor health. At the
same time allergic responses and symptoms means the body is working
extremely hard to maintain its health in spite or poor nutrition,
toxins, stresses, etc. Many people mistakenly assume they are allergic
to many healthy foods, herbs, spices, etc. because of allergy tests or
body reactions, which doctors also label as allergic. Please note that
almost all allergy tests are inaccurate and they should not be relied
upon to determine your allergies. Some allergies are obvious, because
they are caused by toxic substances, i.e. room deodorizers, smoke,
chemicals in the air, body care products, cleaning products, etc.),
smog, chemtrails, pesticides, etc.
But allergies to animal dander, dust mites, dust, mold, pollen, grass,
etc. are less obvious. However, not everyone reacts negatively to these
substances, which obviously points to a person who is unhealthy and not
able to detoxify like they should.
It is a fact that the body can, and will, react to good unadulterated
foods with “allergic-like” symptoms, which is exactly the same way it
reacts to toxins or poisons. However, reactions to good foods are not
allergic reactions, they are healing reactions. When the body receives
the nutrients it needs to heal, it goes into high gear, doing its job of
healing, which creates healing symptoms.
The long list of healing symptoms are exactly the same as the long list
of allergic reactions, i.e. increased mucus in all mucus membranes
(nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, intestines, stomach, etc.), headaches,
stomach upset, gas, bloating, difficulty breathing, inflammation, heart
palpitations, swelling, rashes, hives, diarrhea, constipation, fever,
etc.
In fact hives are a healing reaction too when the body releases
histamines and other chemicals into the bloodstream to handle toxins or
to affect healing. Histamines causes hives, rashes, itching, swelling,
and other related symptoms. Although hives may be uncomfortable, they
are generally quite harmless and disappear on their own. Therefore, do
not be alarmed if you get healing reactions from good unadulterated
foods like eggs, coconut oil, butter, meats, etc. If you get reactions
that are alarming or intolerable just cut back on the amount a little
bit and gradually increase it.
To help your body detoxify do treatments that are listed in How to Detoxify Effectively.
Do Not Push or Overwhelm Your Body
“More is not better!” You can overwhelm your body by
over-treating it, and by taking too much of a good thing, which can stop
or slow down natural healing processes. One of the important keys to
healing naturally is not to push the body.
If you do too many treatments, exercise too much, take other unnecessary
supplements, herbs, hormones, drugs, etc. your body becomes confused
and overwhelmed because “too much is being pushed at it” so it is not as
able to heal like it should.
“Proper nutrients” (diet plus only the supplements recommended) are what
heals the body because they provide the body with what it requires in
order to heal itself naturally the way Nature intended. So they need to
be consumed consistently and for long enough in order to become healthy.
For that reason some direct treatments can be done to help alleviate the
discomforts of symptoms, but they shouldn’t be done for long periods of
time, nor too intensely, because they can also interfere with the
healing processes.
Simple Things to Help You
- For relaxation do this for 15 minutes every day. Lie down on the
floor with your feet on a chair so your thighs are at a right angle to
the seat of the chair and the calves of your legs are lying across the
seat of the chair. It is as simple as that.
- Do dry skin brushing at least 3 times a week, which will stimulate
the liver and adrenal glands, increasing their ability to handle the
toxins – for instructions see Dry Skin Brushing.
- Thump your thymus gland to stimulate it. The thymus gland is an important part of Lymphatic System, which helps the body detoxify itself. It is located underneath the top of the breast bone.
To thump it, use your knuckles and thump gently but firmly on the top of your breast bone – see this image of the Immune System for its location. Gently thump about 10 times in a row. Do this a few times a day to wake up your thymus gland.
- Do things that help your body detoxify, and which do not interfere
with “proper nutrients” and do not deplete energy levels, which includes
taking Epsom Salt baths, doing Coffee Enemas for Detoxification, and mild exercise such as dry skin brushing (above) or walking—also see Mild Forms of Exercise
- Do regular Deep Breathing Exercises
to change your body over from running on its sympathetic nervous system
(fight/flight nervous system) to its parasympathetic nervous system
(calm nervous system). The parasympathetic nervous system works to calm
us down and to heal. The sympathetic nervous system is called the
fight/flight nervous system because it is activated when one needs to
get out of a dangerous situation, or when we are under a lot of stress,
including the stress of being sick. When the sympathetic nervous system
is activated it puts the body and mind in an alert mode, which causes
constant stress to the body, interferes with healing, and depletes
energy, reserves and nutrients.
Cooking, Food Storage & Recipes
When cooking and handling food it is important to handle, store, and
cook food correctly in order to retain healthy life-giving nutrients
available in them.
All vegetables should be cooked to obtain nutrients from them.
This is because their cell walls are made of cellulose (fibres), and our
digestive system is not capable of breaking it down cellulose.
Therefore, cellulose cell walls of all plant foods must be broken down
by cooking them long enough – see How to Get the Most Nutrients from Vegetables.
The best cooking oil is unrefined coconut oil. Of all the available oils, coconut oil
is the best for cooking because it is nearly a completely saturated
fat, which means it is much less susceptible to damage when it is
heated, and it can withstand higher heat than others (up to 375 degrees
Fahrenheit). It can be mixed half and half with butter to increase the
flavors in certain foods.
Do not cook or heat olive oil, since heat damages it so it becomes oxidized, which causes damage to the body – see More Scientific Support For Using Olive Oil. However, unheated extra virgin olive oil can be used in salad dressing, mayonnaise, or added to foods after they are cooked.
Anytime you need an oil to cook with, coconut oil can automatically be
used in place of butter, margarine, olive oil or any other type of oil
in recipes. Buy a good quality unrefined coconut oil for cooking as
described in the Coconut Oil section above.
Do not microwave food, water or drinks. The most important rule
in cooking is not to microwave any food, not even to heat leftovers,
water or drinks. Recent research shows that microwaved food causes
severe molecular damage in the body. When eaten it causes abnormal
changes in human blood which can be seen in a live blood cell analysis.
These changes cause deterioration and damage to the health. In simple
terms, microwave ovens change the molecular structure of food with
radiation. If manufacturers would have more accurately called them
“radiation chambers” it’s doubtful they would have ever sold one, but
that’s exactly what a microwave oven IS. For more information see: Microwave Cooking is Killing You and Microwave Cooking, the Hidden Hazards.
Do not buy irradiated foods. When food is irradiated the
radiation breaks up the molecular structure of the food and creates a
whole new set of chemicals known as “unique radiolytic products” (URPs).
These URPs include benzene, formaldehyde and a host of known mutagens
and carcinogens. Irradiation kills nutrients in food, and effectively
renders the food “dead,” which is useless to your body. For more
information see Microwaving & Irradiation.
Regulations vary from country to country, and even in the United States
they can vary between states. Check regulations in your area to find out
what foods have been approved for irradiation. As far as we know all
spices in the United States and Canada are irradiated, and in the United
States some fresh produce and meats are also irradiated.
The kinds of pots and pans to use: Cooking pots and pans must not
be aluminum nor Teflon coated. Teflon releases a gas that is harmful
when ingesting foods cooked in them.
Pots and pans made of cast iron are best. They need to be well-seasoned
with coconut oil before use unless they are already seasoned. There are
also good pots and pans made of cast iron that are coated with heavy
enamel, which are very good too. High grade stainless steel pans are
also good, as well as glass or stone. For more information see Cookware & How to Season Cast Iron and Cookware, Non–Stainless Steel Alternatives
Containers for storing foods should be made of glass, and not plastic, since some kinds of plastic releases gases that can leach into foods.
